[Chungus]

Breaking through the barrier and knocking Carmen out of the sky, Timea spun around in the air, her impacting with an object exercising an equal effect on her own stability. She was quick to help this, however, choosing to form bat-like wings as it allowed her to raise and lower individual fingers, changing the shape of the wing and catching the air differently, offering a great amount of control. Even if it didn't look very graceful.

Once she had steadied herself out, Timea looked down on Carmen, noting the black blood dripping from her mouth, which puzzled her for a variety of reasons. She didn't let the thoughts sidetrack her, however, noting Carmen wasn't looking like she was out for the count, indicated by her expression, and presumably, breathing.

Not wanting to give her opponent time to recover, Timea went into a dive towards Carmen, and as she did, opened her mouth and fired another entropy beam at her. While where the beam might hit a target wouldn't change how a target was affected, Timea aimed for Carmen's chest, as that was the part of her body that had the most... surface area to it, making it the least difficult to hit.

Noting Nalyssa's life force pool didn't decrease as it drained her, Au'kultz began thinking if it could incapacitate her, while keeping her alive to serve as an all-you-can-eat buffet. While it thought this, Au'kultz didn't fully take its mind away from the battle, and with its large field of vision, saw Nalyssa position her arms and raise the scythe.

As the swung at Au'kultz, it "jumped" through space, appearing roughly two metres away from Nalyssa's right, while leaving an afterimage that would remain a second where it had been before. With its tail no longer inside Nalyssa, it would become apparent no wound was left, as a result of the stinger bypassing physical matter.

From its new position, Au'kultz made a gurgling noise, then sprayed 500 millilitres worth of brown liquid from the pores in its "ribcage", at Nalyssa's shoulders. The liquid would rot organic matter, and corrode inorganic matter at arate of 1 gramme, per 25 millilitres.

The demoness continued to stare toward Timea as the woman's odd changing of form continued to intrigue her. She hadn't seen something like this before. What was this feeling she was beginning to have? ...Was this 'confusion'? It had been a while since the silver haired succubus had really been stumped by something. It was troubling her a bit more... All of her years, she'd never really noticed something like this. It puzzled her... no anger at not knowing what it was, just confusion.

Still, even with this confusion, she noticed the woman diving and opening her mouth once more. While Carmen should likely have expected the screech or the bright lights, she figured that Timea was simply going to try to swoop in and bite her to bits. Obviously, she wasn't going to be having any of that. The remaining circle underneath her glowed as she pointed her dagger straight toward the mouth and oncoming beam.

[color=bb0066] "Blood and pain brings all to light. 7th Circle: Violence!" [/color] From the tip of the dagger came a wild and notably large burst of demonic energy. While that ball of red and black energy would normally hurt like being hit by 3 shotguns up close, the beam would certainly take its toll on it before it made its way toward the diving... thing. [color=bb0066] "Oh dear, don't aim towards my chest. I understand why, but I'd certainly appreciate you not trying to bring harm to my assets." [/color] She'd say, oddly serious given how she had been earlier, as she began to stand up in the small crater the impact had created.

While the beam could drain all forms of natural energy, purely magical energy, it couldn't sap. The Violence spell lost some kinetic energy in contact with Timea's beam, but kept going. Seeing this, Timea's eyes widened momentarily, then were squeezed shut. Knowing she wouldn't have a chance to evade the projectile at the distance, rather then try and evade the ball, Timea tilted her head forwards. Upon being struck, rather then have her head blown of like Carmen might expect, Timea let out an inhuman snarl as skin and some amount of muscle tissue was blasted away.

Dazed by the hit, Timea couldn't slow her descend, and continued falling, but did so towards Carmen. If she didn't get out of the way quick enough, the 8.8-tonne woman would land on top of her.

Nalyssa was left slightly confused at the copy, unsure if her attack had connected. She screamed again when the acid was sprayed on her, and it began to eat into her or whatever the term is. The Ivory Crown she wore slowly healed her wounds, but not nearly as fast as the acid burned.

In a sudden reaction to the pain, Nalyssa extended her burning hand towards Au-kultz, shooting a fireball that would make a small explosion with a radius of about half a meter on impact with whatever it hit.

Carmen would blink a bit, sighing a bit as this next exchange only served to deepen her confusion. The beam couldn't drain her spell? Well, file that away for later, she'd suppose. The noise of pain caused the succubus to brighten up a bit, just like a child just receiving a brand new toy to play with. Looking up, she noticed the woman falling down toward her... and rather quickly at that. Already on her feet now, the demoness hopped to the side and casually looked as Timea made impact much like she had. Only that standing so close to the impact of something so heavy would cause the impact to launch Carmen into the air. This time, there was a yelp of surprise coming from her as she kicked in the air before remembering that there were those wings on her back.

A couple of rushed and panicked flaps would be all that was needed to get Carmen right back up to normal position. As she hovered above, she looked downward. [color=bb0066] "...A quick question... What exactly are you, dear? I just can't wrap my head around it. I'd be willing to throw this match just to know... honestly." [/color] The silver haired woman asked, wondering if Timea would even hear after hitting the ground. Somehow, Carmen wasn't going to even question if the woman was alive or not... That spell surely couldn't have been enough.

Seeing Nalyssa extend her burning hand towards it, Au'kultz made an educated guess as to what would be coming, and turned intangible again as the fireball was launched, turning into a semitransparent and featureless green version of itself. The fireball passed through Au'kultz and impacted against the tree behind, leaving a large scorch mark.

While it would normally sink through an obstruction to go for a surprise attack, Au'kultz noted Nalyssa began to heal her rotting flesh and/or corroding bone mass, and so decided to keep up the attack to prevent her from recovering completely. Becoming physical again, Au'kultz let out another gurgling noise - likely cluing Nalyssa in to what was coming - and sprayed another 500 millilitres at Nalyssa's shoulders, at roughly the same area its fluids had hit earlier.

As Timea hit the ground, the crater became an even larger crater, a large cloud of sand being thrown into the air. Carmen would find that Timea was still alive, her powerful soul still burning strongly.

For a time, Timea laid still, indeed not registering Carmen's words as she recovered from being struck with large force, then belly flopping onto the ground, hard. Letting out a pained groan, Timea pushed herself off the ground, shaking her head. Noting the dust cloud surrounding her, Timea decided to make the best out of the situation and stay inside it for cover, not knowing about Carmen's second sight would negate that would-be advantage.

Sniffing the air, doing so lightly so to not inhale sand, Timea tracked Carmen's position via scent. Her sense of smell was extremely keen, and she could pick up and fresh and presumably unusual-smelling blood dripping from Carmen.

Once she had found her mark, Timea opened her mouth, and fired a bolt of electricity at Carmen with reasonable but not pinpoint accuracy. The bolt would carry about as much power as a strong taser.

The demoness had politely waited for some sort of response from the woman before simply hearing the groan she had let out. A small sigh left her lips, the girl likely hadn't heard a thing she'd said. She continued to hover above simply waiting as Timea continued to stir from within the center of the dust cloud. The bolt hit the demoness dead on as she writhed a bit in the air, also letting out a rather risqué noise. Slowly, she'd begin to flutter toward the ground. Keeping her focus on her circle, the glyph had redrawn its first level and began to construct its second as Carmen's feet hit sand. She simply continued to look toward Timea, breathing a bit heavily as blood continued to lightly drip from the corner of her mouth.

Hearing Carmen's moan in place of something hitting the ground, Timea moved her neck backwards while cocking an eyebrow. She wasn't sure what just happened, but it decidedly wasn't the intended effect. Sniffing the air once more, Timea followed Carmen's scent, getting an idea of where Carmen had moved to.

While taking a few steps back, Timea opened her mouth again, then blew another funnel of wind at Carmen, blowing the sand cloud towards her, and possibly making her stumble. After blowing the sand cloud towards Carmen to use as a distraction, Timea began running towards her, and would try to grab Carmen in a bearhug. She moved a bit more sluggishly due to her head wound.

The succubus had lightly dusted herself off before suddenly that cloud of dust was blown at her direction. Slowly, she'd shut her eyes as the wind made her float back a bit. [color=bb0066] So...This is the stun portion of her offensive... and then comes the attack. Judging by her prior choices when robbing one's sight, this one is going to be a physical frontal attack. Given that last attack, she doesn't need her sight to find me. Then... This might not bode as well as expected, but... [/color] While she secretly hoped that Timea would deviate from this pattern, the demoness decided to act on what she'd observed with her eyes still covered. Slowly, she'd point the dagger toward Timea... or at least toward her front once more, the circle glowing.

[color=bb0066] "Stabbing one in the back releases them from torment. Blessed is he who bestows such peace on another. 9th Circle: Treachery! [/color] Again something shot from the front of the dagger, a small violet beam. If it impacted with Timea, she would find herself having switched places with Carmen. The demonesss immediately followed up with lobbing another fireball in the other's direction, hoping the cover of the small sandstorm would help with the confusion. Timea would still be rushing forward toward her, if the woman continued to run forward. Carmen wouldn't be able to resist being grabbed... which would hurt.... a lot. Despite this, she'd also likely moan as hard hugging happened.

The sand cloud worked two ways, also obscuring Carmen's actions to Timea. As such, the beam would connect to Timea, who let out a surprised yelp at the sudden displacement. She wouldn't have kept running, coming to a stop and stumbling about as she tried to get her bearings. During this time, the fireball struck Timea in the back. Fortunately for her, she had a resistance to fire and heat, and the fireball Carmen tossed wasn't hot enough to overpower it.

Timea let out a snarl as she looked towards Carmen, her breathing having quickened a bit, her expression more angry, although not vastly so. Sticking with her usual tactic, Timea opened her mouth and let out a deafening high-pitched screech. Quickly after, Timea would drop into a crouch, and extend her arm towards Carmen, rapidly elongating it. She would try and grab Carmen's right ankle, yanking at it by returning her arm to its regular size as quickly as it extended if successful.

Hearing the snarl once more, Carmen smirked while she kept her arm over her eyes. She'd found out something about the way the girl fought, which was at least something. Then the screech came and Carmen's knees buckled a bit. Despite having already dealt with it once, it still was more than disorienting... but this just meant the next attack was coming... This one would likely be a projectile, if the pattern was roughly followed. Not in a position to dodge, the hand grabbed her ankle and she'd yelp as she was dragged off in the sand toward Timea. Needless to say, Carmen was worried but she'd simply wait, again focusing on drawing her circle back up to level 1. [color=bb0066] "Just full of surprises, huh...?" [/color] She'd mutter softly as she began to develop some sort of painful rugburn.

While dragging Carmen towards herself, Timea opened her mouth, this time to actually talk, rather then to unleash another attack. "Versatility is the key to survival," she said with something of a harsh tone as she looked down to Carmen, blood dripping from her head wound that was mixed with sandgrains.

While she talked, this didn't mean Timea wouldn't attack. While gripping Carmen's angle - tightly, but not crushingly so - Timea had small openings form in the hand with which she gripped, and through them, fired another entropy beam, essentially applying it through touch. While doing this, Timea extended her free right hand towards Carmen, and elongated the arm, trying to grab the arm Carmen carried her dagger with, under the wrist, hoping to pin Carmen down while her energy was being sapped.

Werther she managed to grab the wrist or not, Timea would watch Carmen carefully, both because she was wary of counter-attacks, and to monitor Carmen's alertness and breathing as her energy was sapped.

[color=bb0066] "I can't say that's wrong, dear. Though your pattern of attack could use some work. All these tools used in the same manner... it's a bit disheartening, honestly." [/color] Carmen would remark backward, noting the draining effect Timea was applying through the grip on her ankle. Oddly enough, the demoness didn't try to move much at all as the blood dripped down onto her. The drain seemed to be doing little, though it was enough for Timea to successfully pin the woman down.

Carmen seemed as alert as before along with rather normal breathing. She actually was breathing pretty slow despite all the stress and torment her body had been put through in the fight so far. However, that vivacity was draining in small increments. Those red eyes with the unholy pupils just stared back toward Timea as the dagger was continued to be held in her left hand, an almost hypnotic glare to them.

With a sigh, she'd attempt to toss the blade to her free hand with a small flick of the wrist. If she managed it, the circle underneath her would glow. [color=bb0066] "Rage brings enlightenment. 5th Circle: Anger!" [/color] The blade would glow again as Carmen simply stabbed straight toward Timea's shoulder, wanting to drive the energy blade as deep as possible with what range of movement she had available to her.

If not, the succubus would just chuckle softly as she looked up. [color=bb0066] "I'm guessing you're more the romantic type, huh? With the way you were rushing at me before, I imagine my throat would have been crushed or my entrails having been eaten out by now. But to try and finish me like this is a nice way to go, I suppose." [/color]

"... Duly noted." Timea replied, somewhat distant-mindedly as she kept her draining up. With the mesmerising sheen the dagger had to it in addition to her suffering from her head wound, Timea wasn't quick enough react to Carmen tossing the dagger to her free hand. As the energy blade was formed, all Timea could do was letting go of Carmen and step back.

She let out an inhuman, but not overly-loud shriek as tip of the blade partially broke through her skin. From there, however, the blade was met with large resistance, as her skin was a great deal dense then it seemed. While the sharpness of the blade meant it could break through completely, and Carmen putting force into the blow making it pierce some muscle tissue, it was far from going through-and-through.

Buckling through her knees, Timea, with squinted eyes, had an taloned appendage quickly grow from her chest, and with it, made a swipe towards Carmen's dagger-holding hand, aiming to sever the thumb.

As the blade dug through and hearing Timea's pain loud and clear, Carmen smiled softly once more. This wasn't due to the pain... another veritable piece of the puzzle that was this woman atop her was solved. [color=bb0066] "Rather dense, aren't you, dear?" [/color] She'd say with a chuckle before the talon suddenly lopped her thumb clean off. More black blood began to spurt from the stump.

Carmen seemed to not react for a moment before she'd simply pull the hand away, leaving the energized dagger within the woman. For a moment, she'd shake and convulse before she let out another soft sigh. She was obviously struggling to stay calm as her entire body began to shake just a bit. [color=bb0066] "I'll surrender here then. I'm not keen enough with this dagger in my offhand to be at a capacity to cast spells. I'd clearly need them to defeat you, therefore this endeavor is over. Well played, ma'am." [/color] The demoness smiled again with a single tear running down her face, presumably due to her trying to keep from crying out audibly in pain with her thumb no longer being attached to her person.

The arena's desert would slowly fade back to hard steel as the medic team ran out to do their work. Carmen would simply give Timea a silent curtsy before turning on her heel and heading toward the now open gates of the arena.

Once Carmen capitulated, and Timea was declared the winner, Timea let herself drop to her knees and licked her shoulder wound, more out of instinct then anything that was beneficial. Although she noted Carmen's congratulations, she didn't respond to it, not finding herself in a talkative mood.

She would stop licking her wound when she found it was healing up on its as the arena was flooded with healing magic. Blowing a sign as she was healed, Timea rose back to her feet and looked around, silently cursing the arena. When Carmen had left the arena, Timea would pick up the severed thumb, looking at the black blood dripping from it. After giving it a smell, she would presume the blood being toxic and drop it again, then heading out of the arena herself.

Nalyssa understood what the gurgling sound meant by now, so she dodged the acid by hovering to the side. After a brief delay, she brought the heavy scythe down on Au-kultz, attempting to impale it with the tip of the blade.

Having her wings and chest-appendage retract fully into her body, leaving no trace of them, Timea entered the locker room approaching her locker, Timea would store Carmen's dagger in it, then leave for the dorms, laying herself down on her back on the floor, with a soft thud.

Unable to phase out so soon after doing so, and aiming to hold off on its space-jumping until a better opportunity showed itself, Au'kultz instead simply hovered to the side and closer to Nalyssa to avoid Nalyssa's scythe swipe. It was a rather slow mover, however, making the scythe connect, scraping past the side of its head, leaving a shallow cut from which small amounts of green energy flowed.

Immediately after the scythe was swing, Au'kultz seized the moment. It would "jump" closer to Nalyssa, practically pressing itself against her side, hoping the close quarters would make counter-attacking more difficult for her. As before, Au'kultz's short-range teleport left an afterimage of itself where it had been before, which would last a second.

From its new position, Au'kultz thrust its tail stinger at Nalyssa, but kept the stinger physical this time, aiming to wound. The stinger was aimed at the spot its liquid had connected to before, figuring the rotting area would make for a more vulnerable target.

Nalyssa was confused by the duplicate Au'kultz again, but decided to attack the closer target, which happened to be the real one. With a quick snap of her wrist, a very short-ranged and short-lasting burst of fire erupted from her hand, almost large enough to completely engulf the monster.

This spell would complete shortly after the stinger impaled her shoulder. Recoiling from pain, her aim was slightly off, and the spell would only hit the side of Au'kultz unless it moved.

Not expecting Nalyssa to use her fire attack while it was so up close, thinking she wouldn't so to not risk hitting herself, Au'kultz was taken by surprise, and took the fire blast as a result. As the flames licked its side, Au'kultz let out a pained howl, blindly thrusting its tail stinger towards where Nalyssa's jaw met her throat. Werther the attack would be successful or not, it would be its last.

Having little mass to it, Au'kultz was swiftly consumed by the flame where it was struck, the area burned away. Vivid green energy flowed from it, obscuring what might be beyond. If Au'kultz managed to pierce Nalyssa's throat, Au'kultz upper body would flop against Nalyssa's stomach area, dangling from the tail for a moment, then fading away. If the attack missed, Au'kultz's corpse would simply drift to the ground, fading away just before it would hit the ground.
