Oz's Magebane Band began to glow once again and his armor took on a blue glint as Carmen's attack struck him. The concentrated nature of the spell caused it to cut his finger off, but he suffered no other collateral damage from the attack. He dropped his dagger and clutched his hand as he spat out out-dated curses. "I'll have to treat you special now because of that." He said, his tone a mix of amusement and anger. Picking up his dagger again, he hurled it at Carmen's gut before running in once again and pouncing, aiming to decapitate her with a swift, strong swing of his axe.

Deadeye quickly loaded and shot the bomb with an arrow in mid air, letting it sail to the side. "Well, no pointing in holding back now" He said with a dead serious tone, he tapped his eye patch with his digit finger which would reveal his left eye to be completely black with a couple of white swirly lines in it. "Releasing the insanity!" he said with a manic look, as his should made a click and a whirl like a disc started to play. Lagunna would be able to hear music, seeming to be comes from Deadeye's shoulder blade.

Spoiler: the music

"The bass, the rock, the mic, the tremble..." He crossbow arm fired quicker then before onto Lagunna position, a random mixture of bullets, arrows and explosive pellets. "I like my coffee black just like my metal!" he continued to speak, his smirk and stare continued to be manic.

Carmen smiled again as she extended her hand toward the speeding dagger as she looked directly at Oz's chest. [color=bb0066] "A snakebite to the neck, more pleasant than most... 9th circle... Treachery!" [/color] She shot a small purple beam out of her hand and it hit the dagger. In a flash of purple light, the succubus and the dagger switched both position and direction. The dagger flew toward Oz's chest as Carmen flew to the side and brought her dagger up to block Oz's strike. A magic circle appeared to block it and it fizzled a bit as the attack hit it. It eventually stabilized, though noticeably weaker than before.

"I think you need a shrink, dude!" Laguna said, fear creeping into his voice as he hobbled away from the position that was being bomabarded. He drew his sniper and shot at Deadeye while still on the move, but he couldn't avoid all the random flak Deadeye was putting out, A bullet struck him in the gut, and an exploding bolt went oiff behind him, propelling him forward and behind a sturdy wall but severly damaging his legs.

Deadeye chuckled like a mad man. "I can't wait for you to knock me off in a minute minute, in a fucking minute!" He said as he continued he bombardment, the music continued to play. "I can't wait for you to shut me up, and make me HIP LIKE BADASS!" He said he detached his sickle and held it with his remaining fingers, then ran up to Lagunna, still firing arrows at him.

Laguna was out of options, so he did the only thing he could. As Deadeye had been heading for him, he had summoned the Ragnarok and started charging. Crouching behind it to try and use it as a limited amout of cover, he charged beyond the safety limits. When Deadeye came into range, Lagana smirked. "Hey Deadeye, behold the GREATEST ATTACK EVER!" He let fly, and the cannon fired a massive laser so powerful the air seem to radiate off it in heat waves.

"I don't find it funny right now!" He grunted as his crossbow arm morphed to a slender arm cannon and fired a beam into laser, the result of such action would be a massive blast, sending Deadeye flying backwards (and likely Lagunna too). "I wanna wanna my money right now!" He said as he flew through the air, then landed with a crunch and rolled a couple of times. "I'm...on the way....to the party right now..." He muttered as he struggled to get up again, the humans parts of him were bleeding quite badly and the mech parts were either broken, cracked or sparking small bit of electricity. [color= orange]"Here comes the pain....the Pain...THE PAIN!"[/color] He continued to speak threw the lyrics of the song, he threw the sickle towards Lagunna, then shot into the air with his arm cannon a couple of times. a small sparkle come form the sky as 6 more sickles all drove towards Lagunna from different angles and heights, about the speed of a bullet each.

The dagger bounced off of Oz's armor, doing little more than denting it slightly. Noticing Carmen's defense falter, he placed both hands on his axe. He exerted as much force as he could with his axe, attempting to overpower and break right through Carmen's defenses and continue his swing.

Laguna flew backwards, the explosion leaving him bruised and battered. He weakly got up again, though it was clear he couldn't take much more. He coughed up some blood, then dropped a barrier and hid behind it, hoping the sickles wouldn't come from an angle that would kill him.

Carmen twitched a bit as she noticed Oz pushing harder. She ducked as she let her barrier go, extremely weak and virtually useless now as it disappeared. After letting the strike whizz over her head, she extended her hand toward him. [color=bb0066] "Once more... 7th circle.. Violence!!" [/color] The red stream of energy went straight for Oz, doing twice the amount of damage and threatening to push him back since both Oz and Carmen were so close in proximity.

Being in such close proximity and no longer having his Magebane Band to protect him, Oz took the hit incredibly hard. The blast completely tore through his torso, causing most of its contents to explode out the other side of him. He immediately collapsed, completely immobile as he was certainly dead.

Carmen sighed as she staggered back after blowing out Oz's insides, eventually falling into a sitting position. [color=bb0066] "...That won't work again..." [/color] She idly inspected her dagger as she calmly took a deep breath and began focusing her energy on repairing the barrier for now.

Carmen finished her preparations and eventually came across the others still standing and slayed them with a close range violence. She exited the arena victorious before heading back to her suite with a small sigh. [color=bb0066] "And back to the way things should have been..." [/color]

Soon enough, she fell asleep.

The Meta was still fighting, slowly advancing through a seemingly endless amount of guards. His goal was clear: EIA. And he was finally in reach of it.
