John felt that it was time to fight closing the book with a THUD he finished his apple, as he walked down the passage he thought to himself *hope i haven't got rusty it's been a while since i had a good fight* and then walked in the locker room

As John enetered the lockers, he saw a skeleton polishing a giant, wall-like golden sheild. The sketelon looked up, and waved. "Mrrm!"[footnote]Hello![/footnote]

"hello" he said staring at the skeleton a little confused waving back a little and slowly edges to his locker

Dan saw John go for the locker. "Hm mrph, hrrm mmph mr phrr mm, hpmr phr?"[footnote]Oh dear, you're going to fight me, aren't you?[/footnote] He facepalmed.

Dan reached into the locker, pulling out a large sword, a longbow, and a chicken leg. "Mr Phr Dmhm Fphrmmm, hmp phrm pf Phwrm!"[footnote]I'm Sir Daniel Fortesque, the Hero of Gallowmere![/footnote] he mumbled, clipping his weaponry to his armour. "Mph hmm yph mrrrm Phr m hp mrr."[footnote]But you can call me Dan if you like.[/footnote]

"a sir hm been a while since i met a sir and if giving full names John Saber Captain-commander of the 13th Legion" he said pulling out a staff, a Katana which he attached to his belt and 4-5 small throwing knifes and quickly put them away

"Mppr hmt yrr ph hrpm hmzr."[footnote]Good to meet a fellow hero.[/footnote] Dan walked into the arena, sword and shield in hand.

OoC: Any requests for terrain?

OOC: earth and no tight corners if possible

"hmm i agree" he said as John followed Dan into the arena but decided to leave the staff behind he wouldn't need it

Dan and John stepped out into a large, spacious castle courtyard. The walls made a pretty solid barrier, but the majority of the battlefiled was a flat grass plain.
