Aethion thumped his mailed fist on the bar counter.
"Cas'Va Thrynn, that damned cowardly schemer! First the knife, then the sand. I would have cut him open from groin to neck if he had fought honourably!"
"He fought craftily, not honourably." Drayven cautioned him. "Even if one does not wish to fight using such tricks himself, he must at least be prepared for them, and know how to avoid or counter them if they are used by his enemy. You must do this, Aethion. To ignore dishonourable tactics in battle would surely doom you to a fate that you have experienced today."
"Perhaps. Next time, I'll cut his throat with his own hidden knife." Aethion muttered. He glanced at Laguna.
"And what about you? You are always with at least some of the warriors here, and you said that you did not serve the people who control this place, but you do not carry a weapon yourself. Are you a champion as well?"
