Lucina missed her shots, however Homer's hit the attacker. He dropped to the ground, dead. The others tried to back away, but bumped into the now-closed gate. They all raised their weapons, preparing to attack if Homer and Lucina advanced closer.
When Homer killed the man, the red '5' on the screens changed to a '4'.

The kitsune simply grinned in response to Annika's reaction before looking down toward the bear and nodding. [color=f07100] "That's wholly correct. Lone spirits are a bigger cause of problems than anything else. I generally help with trying to pass them over to the afterlife, thus this uniform..." [/color] She'd motion to her clothes. [/color] She'd look up toward Annika as she spoke, still smiling faintly.

Lucina advanced forward a bit, to get closer and give herself a better shot, then fired at one of the men, aiming for center of mass.
Both shots hit, causing the men to fall back against the gate, and slide to the ground. The two remaining opponents charged forwards, and would swing their axes at the combatants if they managed to get close enough.

Homer was quite fsat on the reload, so he was able to fire at the one charging him before he got any where near him.
Lucina and Homer both killed their opponents, causing the corpses to fade away as the wave ended. On the arena wall, in the same place as before, which was now in the sky, the image of humans with stone axes appeared again. Below it, however, was an image of a human with a bow and arrows.
The two combatants were given a few moments to reload their weapons if necessary, before the next wave emerged. Four people with crude weapons climbed up onto the front wall of the fort, followed by the archer.

Idun gritted her teeth as Victoria grabbed her leg with a firm grip, and groaned softly when Victoria rolled over on top of her, bending Idun's lower body, the act dropping Idun once more. Not in a position where she could push herself up, Idun focused on trying to force Victoria to release her grip. Grabbing hold of Victoria's shoulders, Idun tried to push her off.
Lucina took a second to rest, almost forgetting to reload. When the enemy appeared, she moved forward, blade at the ready.
Homer successfully hit the archer, causing him to stumble backwards and fall off the wall as he died. The other opponents, using melee weapons, jumped off the wall and moved towards Homer and Lucina.

Lucina would manage to take out one of the attackers, however she would find herself surrounded on three sides by the others. Two slashed at Lucina with their weapons, however the third attempted to throw her axe in Homer's general direction.

Lucina made a short hop back, trying to dodge the attackers and seeing if there was an opportunity for a counter.
Kagura noted the flames and nodded. Even if the word was foreign, it obviously meant to employ magic of some sort. Listening further, the fox's ears twitched faintly. [color=f07100] "I see... Were you planning on strengthening it by any chance...? Also, you look like you'd be able to move around fine without the ring..." [/color] Kagura tilted her head as she looked Annika over once more.
