Homer's shot dropped the axe-thrower, though she hadn't really expected a better outcome. Lucina would have a little more trouble finding opportunities to counter, however, since her opponents had flanked her. Both slashed at her, their crude weapons not likely to do a significant amount of damage unless they hit her head.

[color=f07100] "I see then. Not a bad use of it then." [/color] Kagura said before slowly before rolling her self back onto the cot, looking up toward the ceiling. [color=f07100] "Hopefully, you're able to find a way out of here then. You must've wanted magic for some reason." [/color]

As the fight between Victoria and Idun went on without either combatant showing any signs of giving in, the arena operators ran a simulation to predict how the battle would continue to play out, based on the data the operators had on the two, of which they had a great deal. Once finished, it became clear things wouldn't go anywhere.

All combatants cease! The match is a draw!

As the announcement was made, the arena shifted back into its default state, the bulwarks sliding open.

Idun began to say after the announcement was made, speaking in Norwegian. "And it was going so well... ." blowing a soft sigh, Idun lowered her arms, resting them on the ground, spread out.

"Oh, well. Nicely fought. You're tough as nails!" She said, breathing a little heavily, now addressing Victoria, rather then talking to herself. As she complimented Victoria, Idun raised her right arm, and gave a thumbs up.

Lucina made a quick horizontal slash on one attacker's chest, then raised her blade to protect her head from the other.

Victoria has huddle over and clutching her knees as she also was breathing heavily.
Code:
"Thanks. You're no slouch yourself either."
She replied, mimicing Idun's gesture.

"Heh... thanks. I did my best." said Idun, letting out a soft and sheepish laugh afterwards. "It all went a lot better then I expected, honestly, you being a mountain of a woman and all." After a pause, Idun let out a sigh, and got to her feet, a little slowly. Turning to Victoria, Idun extended her hand towards her, saying, "Anyway, we should probably get out, before they decide to throw us in another fight immediately."

Standing back up straight, Victoria clasped Idun's hand and shook it, actually being familiar with the gesture.
Code:
"Sounds like a good idea to me. I could really use a breather."

Homer considered yelling at Lucina to get down or move so he could fire safely, but decided she was doing fine for now.

In the time she looked down to Victoria, Idun stared at Victoria's electronic eye, having noted it didn't look like her organic left eye, but not having gotten a good enough look to really see why. She didn't stare too long, soon catching herself in the act, and looking away. Giving a nod towards Victoria, Idun turned around, and headed out of the arena. As she walked, she wondered why Victoria was so much machine, and just how it all worked, but presuming asking would be rude, didn't voice her thoughts.

Once in the locker room, Idun took off her armour pieces and stored it away, then moved in to the dorm, laying down on a bed.

Kagura just chuckled in response to Annika. [color=f07100] "If that's the case, then that's the case. That fun seeking may save you someday day when you get out of here." [/color]

Lucina killed the first attacker, then managed, just barely, to block the other's swing. He panicked upon realising he was outmatched, and attempted to flee.

The fleeing combatant dropped to the ground, causing the front gate of the fort to open up. Past the gate was a courtyard, with the entrance to the keep on the other end. Various vehicles, from wooden carts to armoured vans, were laying around the courtyard, providing cover.
Two archers were placed on the walls, one on the left side of the courtyard, and the other on the right. Four soldiers wielding swords, made of either stone or bronze, were placed near the four corners of the courtyard. The ethereal light was again holding them back, until the third wave officially began.

Homer suggested that they both focus on dropping the swordsmen as quickly as possible so they could focuson the archers at their leisure.

Wave 3 Begin!

The archers took aim at both Lucina and Homer, each firing a single arrow. Thanks to their positions behind cover, however, the arrows failed to hit them. The soldiers moved in, somewhat cautiously, with their swords raised. The cover worked in their benefit, too; Homer and Lucina could only see two of the sword-using combatants each.
