The only conclusion is that the Eldar's psychic ability allowed a stronger link the Eldar are all sissy-girly men who can't even sustain one God.
What about Khaine D:?
Oh I meant Chaos Gods. Khaine is an Eldar God. Not to mention the fact that Khaine has been shattered into hundreds of fragments due to a fight between Slaanesh and Khorne over who's ***** he was going to be.

The Eldar also have two other known living Eldar Gods; The Laughing God and Isha. TLG escaped by tricking Slaanesh and now trolls around the galaxy messing with Slaanesh (he's like an Eldar aligned tzeentch) while Isha is currently married to and living with Nurgle when she is forced to tries all his new plagues brewed in his cauldren. As she is the Eldar goddess of healing the plagues don't kill her and as she is also the Goddess of mercy she occasionally manages to sneak her followers the cure to the plague.

The rest all got "nommed" (to spare blushes) by Slaanesh
Don't forget Ynnead, the God of the Dead. Although he's not technically alive until all the Eldar enter the infinity circuits.

Could be natural selection at work? Psykers in Commoragh get turned into playthings or nommed by Slaanesh; over several generations that would probably result in the 'psychic gene' or whatever it is dying out.
But the Dark Eldar, as far as we know, don't reproduce. All the Eldar race are psychic and DArk Eldar are Eldar who had their souls eaten by Slaanesh during its birth but found a way to stay living and unaging by feeding off the souls oftortured victims
They do. The kabalite trueborn are specifically eldar that have been born naturally rather than vat-grown, and the majority of the DE upper-classes were born naturally.
And as far as I understand, they're only slowly having their sould leeched away, they never had their souls eaten fully. They replenish their souls from their victims.

I'm pretty sure that the codex mentions that their natural psychic abilities have atrophied almost completely because using them would immediately alert slaanesh.

I used to think that Eldar where simply a much more highly evolved form of humanity, but it seems Eldar habe traits from every typr of species out there-reptiles, mammals, avain, ect.
But, the rapid increase in the number of psykers being born sows that humanity is reaching its true psychic potential, as the Eldar did long ago.

I'm not sure that their fluff can actually be restored at this point. No amount of backtracking can undo the damage they've done. It's really too bad, I was seriously interested in that universe for a long while, but all I'm going to be able to focus on from here on out is Orks and how they're doing. They, at least, have remained mostly constant since the tumultuous early days.... at least to an understandable degree.

I'm more interested in how the game plays, because it's definitely going to ruin my force and make me start over somewhat. Hopefully the damage will be minimal, and they'll include Squiggoths as regular transports in the new list. Hopefully.

I love the changes. Every time I read something about 40k I thought about how everything was pointless because they're gonna just be eaten by Tyranids. I like that there's some hope now for the empire. They need to explain the Tau and Space Marine alliance though.

My only big problem with GW fluff is the Space Marines being a bunch of knights IN SPEHS!!!! I'd rather see something along the lines of Codex: Hardass, Bionic Jarheads, but that's just me.

Why are Dark Angels so f-cking important?

Give me rule books on some chaos chapters. Iron Warriors, Night Lords, etc.

Or Ork clans. Badmoonz, Snakebites, etc.

Seriously I think everyone is having a space marine overdose at this point.
I like the fact that over the past few years they have started expanding the rule sets for the various Space Marine chapters, but yeah I fully agree. I'd love to see faction specific books and models for the other factions.

As an Ork player who more or less ignores the in game factions for my own DIY tribe I may not get much use out of a Goffs or Blood Axes book...still with the addition of the Ally Matrix (which I love BTW) it would be a good way to bring in a secondary detachment of Evil Sunz mercs to add some added Speed to back up my Rood Boyz.
