Stupid, stupid, stupid Marines game...no PC version...GREAT! Thank you, oh don't bother, with a port, it's not like we need it or anything.

DM is an MMO...sigh...c'mon people, lets all play a generic WoW GUI'ified game.

FOR BLOODY PETE'S SAKE! I hope every single person who plays those games ends up burning in hell, even if they did save kittens from an inferno.
It actually said in an interview they weren't trying to make a WOW, just a bloody MMO!

Why the fuck is everyone screaming "WOW COPY" or something similar when someone tries to make a decent MMO? Thats like saying "COD COPY!" for every single FPS out in the market.

Ahem, I saw both, it looks awesome. I'm really looking forward to Space Marine (hugs Xbox360) I want to try out the Warhammer 40,000 MMO

Orks is where the fightin's at. I don't care about the rest of the game. Gimme a trukk to drive and make it RED.

I'm totally looking forward to both these games in a way that can only be described as 'giddy'.

Space Marine looks fun and all, but where are the fucking Eldar in Dark Millennium? I want to be a jousting elf on a jetbike.
We were promised Chaos, orks, eldar and imperium a as starters so im assuming they are somewhere. Graphics look much better than i was expecting for both games as well.
FOR THE IMPERIAL GUARD!

[sub]Because genetic modification and fancy armor is for pussies![/sub]

Dark Millennium looks good, but it's gonna take a lot to convince me to ditch SW:TOR.

I'm interested in the Space Marine game, but the MMO just looks too cartoony. 40k invented the Grimdark Fantasy setting, and this would be the equivalent of putting googly eyes on a Khorne Berserker (Which I've seen, and it's hilarious, but it breaks the mood.)

In the old days, I'd say that I'll reserve final judgement on a game until I had it in my hands, and played it myself. In the case of MMOs, however, I'm forced to say that I'll reserve finaly judgement until I get to endgame, or a reasonably facsimile thereof.

It looks like it has potential. I'll say that. Though if I can't play as an Eldar, I won't bother, given that I've been playing my Eldar long enough that GW's target audience wasn't BORN when I started.

There are a lot of questions regarding classes, progression, gameplay mechanics, etc, that obviously aren't going to be answered by a 90 second video clip.

I wonder how they manage to balance out the casualty ratio of Imperial Guard, in their Paper armor and Imperial Flashlights, in comparison to ceramite power-armor protected, genetically engineered supersoldiers. Because either they need to stay in-genre and accept that any imperial guard player will die 20-25x that of any other player and compensate for it, or somehow come up with a reason why the IG player suddenly, in contrast with the genre, dies at the same ratio as the super-soldier despite the humongous inherent power difference.
Interesting problem they've got on their hands. Maybe from the start all the races will have different quests to level them out of their starting, so Space Marines will start as Scouts and have a hard slog from the get-go to match their elite status, whereas Guardsmen players will fight it out until they become Stormtroopers or something like that. Either that or Guardsmen are going to need extremely fast access to stronger weaponry than their crappy lasguns.

Anyone know if the Space Marine armour is going to be customisable? It'd be all kinds of awesome to be able to play as an actual Space Wolf rather than pretending to be a Space Wolf that's wearing Ultramarine armour.

I really hope Space Marine turns out to be good. I've wanted a game like it to come out for a long time.

DM's combat is said to be unlike any MMO seen so far. Apparently anyways.

Well you know how it works. Every MMO is a WoW clone. Just like every shooter is a Halo clone.

Also if you say anything different you are a communist and you hate America and Freedom and will burn in hell like AceAngel said.

On a lighter note: wooohoooo! Mechanicus xD

Space Marine kinda made me jizz my pants a little until I noticed how close to gears of war it was. Kinda a turn off imo.

Stop it mate, if you notice what I said, I said the GUI, not the gameplay. I was expecting a much darker and W40K themed GUI, what it looks like now is what every single WoW clone has. bright colored, at the top, and single grade colors. Small nitpicky issue, but hey, whatever fits your bill. Everyone wants an MMO which is the same as WoW, to overlap the market it posses, kinda like Tabula Rasa did and failed.

And yes, almost all FPS games are copy of each other, out the few couple of dozen which try something new.

Back to this statement and before, we all heard that one before. AoC came in, Cabal Online, Warhammer Online and even a few others, all promised 'new elements' all which failed or filled a small niche market at BEST...

Warhammer doesn't look like a WoW clone at ALL, but if your want your MMO to make loads of money, then you need to homogenize it a little-bit to fit your bill and pull many of the useless cake-holes from that game.

Okay so in my quote you say it is a 'generic WoW GUI'ified game' but in the one below mine it says 'Warhammer doesn't look like a Wow clone at ALL' Mixed messages? Anyway I see your point, they could of grimed it up a bit more. (Must resist from telling AceAngel about RTS GUI)

GUI =/= Gamplay. Gameplay looks fine, GUI and interaction methods do not (at least from the video).

Also, Storm Rise and Goblin Commander would like to say 'Hi', maybe even End-War since although they're classified as RTS game, I doubt that the GUI system looked anything like it.
