I've taken the shit show that was Rome 2 so personally that I've yet to buy Total Warhammer. Hoping for a holiday sale now that all the DLC is out and the game I "complete," will probably have enough time to see how the sequel turns out.

So wait, not sure if I got this wrong, but will it be possible to do a campaign including the factions from the original game should you own it?

I'd be rather disappointed if they decided to drop the concept of continuously adding more to the game in order to dish out sequels.

So have they added the Sigmarines yet? With their totally not bolters, not thunder hammers, not storm shields, not bionics, and those comets they arrive on are totally not drop pods.
Totally.
I absolutely love the Sigmarines. Seriously. Without question.

I never played them. I do not like the Age of Sigmarines rules. I doubt I'll ever get into it.

But I love the nonsensical hate they cause.

A living God, in the face of Enemy Gods unleashing their Chosen, Vampire Lords devastating lands, Beast men of all sizes, Vile Greenskins, and traitorous humans, decides to make his own chosen legion to combat.

That makes perfect sense to me.

The fact is, if it wasn't for the hate, I would have looked at Sigmarines and shrugged. I'm just trying to get into non 40k properties as it is. But other than people think Chaos is cooler than anything and lore how the Stormcast are created, the Sigmarines are functionally no different than the Varanguard, Slaughterpriests, or Putrid Blightkings.
