WARNING MASS EFFECT 2 ENDING SPOILERS

I completed Mass Effect 2 today and I've lost 4 members of my team. Tali, Legion, Thane and Jack. Three died on ship while Tali died during mid fight. What's your experience?

I sacrificed Tali cause I hated that stupid *****. The cool alien scientist (forgot his name, been months) got sniped out or something. That kinda saddened me. I think everyone else survived.

Everyone survived, though that was proabably because I used a guide for everything past the dead reaper. I would just hate to lose anyone.

Had Jack die on my first playthru, but everybody survived in the second run.

Zaeed (don't care) and Mordin (nooooooooo!) died.

Miranda nearly died in that bit after you defeat the human Reaper and you slide down, but Shep saved her. Dunno if its possible for someone to die in that bit or not, but it was squeaky-bum-time for sure.

I don't get why everyone is so obsessed with having everyone survive though. I've had one playthrough and left it at that - having perfect playthroughs destroys the point of the games. I don't want to know the opposite outcome of every choice.

Hey, I lost them and them only. Figured Thane was going to die anyway, but, Legion, man.

First time I lost Miranda cos she had an argument with Jack.... She fell and got hit by a girder or something after fighting the reaper with me.
Second most recent playthrough I saved everyone

Jack died from a laser blast, Legion died on the ship from an explosion, and Thane was assisting me during the fight with that orb and then he gets killed.

Lost no-one on my first play through without using a guide. It all seemed pretty logical to me? Although I know I did luck out that the Miranda/Jack confrontation came late enough that I had enough paragon points to keep them both loyal.

I think there's a way to save Thane, or at least a plot point setting it up. Don't quote me on that though.

I didn't have full trust, Jack hated me. But nobody died, surprisingly. I'm anticipating amazing things with Mass Effect 3!

I liked all of them, too. Although I do think Jacob was rather bland compared to the rest.

Also, anyone who hates Tali is a bad human being.

It seemed pretty logical to me how to not lose people.

Lost no one for my first run. Did a few runs later with different results, and even made a run specifically to kill off Jacob...which didn't work.

Essentially though no one dies if they are loyal and you put the right people in the right places and upgrade your ship with everything but the medical bay upgrade.

Lost Grunt and...somebody else the first time. It was probably Jack, I think she got left behind with the Seekers...
