The Junction system is the single most exploitable character developement system in the entire franchise, it lets you become uber-over powered before you even leave Balamb and reduces the tactics of every single boss fight in the game to: "Attack with Squall". You shouldn't have a system back punishes the player for casting a spell.

Having only played 4 and 10, 10. Both are great, but 4 just doesn't have much depth.
