I think the gameplay looks good and the graphics realistic (and I don't mean photo realistic), but the new main character looks so... boring. He doesn't look cool, he doesn't look unique, he looks like a guy in a hat with a hankey over his face. At least Aiden looked kinda slick running around in his trench coat. This guy looks like 30 year old man in a 15-year olds clothing.

The parkour looks good at least, it's amazing how Assassin's Creed's parkour used to be so smooth, now it's a bore. This new parkour system looks a lot faster.

Frankly, fuck the trailer. Ubisoft has never, ever, ever, ever, been honest in a trailer. Wait until the game comes out and see how buggy and downgraded the graphics end up being before making a judgement. Watch Dogs 1 was mediocre at best, though I didn't mind the graphical downgrade.
B-but, the graphics look like shit!

Well, not shit, but in my opinion believable. It looks a little GTA V-ish.

I look at the first game for the first time in a trailer and it was really bland...
For a game which allow you to hack nearly everything is very colorless sadly. So I never had a chance to play it.
Watch Dog 2 on the other hand...my god I love this trailer.
At first before I see the trailer ,I hear many people get angry for the "meme" Theme the game will follow and I didn't cared for the game series again. But man this trailer have colors, energy, human interaction, happiness, siliness. I saw just this trailer and I already learn what it is about. Show no tell.
For sure I will buy it when I get a better PC and it is in Discount.

Don't trust the system, it is only there to deceive you. Wait until we know and we see more before making any kind of hype train judgement upon this Ubisoft propaganda.

You have been warned people. Learn from your mistakes.
HA! This dialog easily can be part of the game base of what I saw in the trailer. F*ck the System indeed yo!!!

It looks like a modern day assassins creed. now prepare for ubisoft's yearly switch between assassins creed and watch dogs. far cry may also join them.
There is already a Theory which connect Watch Dog's and Assassin Creed's Worlds together. Maybe they will do something with Far Cry too.

There's a dagger in Far Cry 3 that connects it to Assassin's Creed.

And plenty more besides.

Every time I played an Ubisoft game it felt like a hollow shell next to the way they made it look and sound in promo trailers. They are literally masters of deception, making games that appear deep and well-designed only to discover you're just playing the same roughly 10 minute loop, running from one map icon to the next.

Looks like they've managed to make even worse one.
We don't know much about Marcus yet, right? Aside from the fact that he's been "Framed for a crime he didn't commit."
He looks like a hipster on hipsteroids.
Really? I like is look. He certainly looks better than Aiden.
I like their look because it feels like Ubisoft going to try and have fun with their game. That's one of the problems I had with the first Watch Dogs. The game took itself far too seriously. Aiden was a downer and his story was boring. His personality type was an odd pick for the world they created. Especially since some of the side activities involved spying on people, and their fetishes, and playing some weird virtual reality Pac-Man.

It's no theory. They definitely exist in the same world. Olivier Garneau is a character we meet in Assassin's Creed 4, during our brief moments in the present. He works for Abstergo as the Chief Creative Officer. During the game he mysteriously disappears. That's because we, as Aiden, took him out in Watch Dogs. Non-lethally, for whatever reason. I can only assume the Brotherhood has him now.

What are your thoughts on the trailer?
Kind of looks like Mr. Robot as directed by Michael Bay.

I wonder what kind of tower we'll be climbing to unlock the map in this one.
Coca Cola billboards! Or whoever pays Ubisoft the money.
The trailer I watched said no map unlocking, it'll all be there from the beginning.

The second video does sound more like they're actually making a hacking game and not tacking a gimmick on their existing sandbox game thing. Which would be an improvement.

Turning it into straight guerilla-DEDSEC vs corporate-BLUME does reek of Assassin's Creed though.

Trailer's lie. They often tell me that a Michael Bay Movie is the event of the summer.
