It's a tradishion. Everytime a new Zelda game comes out my brother plays it and i watch to know the landscape and when he's done i just go around explore what i didn't get to see and make up my own storys.
I watch other people play if I don't have the right system or the funds to buy the game for myself. I watched my brother play Mass Effect 2 and was fine with it. I still have to finish the first one so I can get there myself.
I'd rather play by myself for the most part, sometimes watching people who don't know what they're doing can be funny though.
However, if they start asking me how to do everything, and then do exactly the opposite of what I say, I get the urge to shove the controller down their throat.
Whenever we're both home, I watch my brother play his RTS games (like those age of.... games). Pretty much because he can talk while he does it, he is shockingly good at them, and because I find it fun especially when I'm devoid of energy.

[small]It's beside the point that I'm absolutely abysmal at any form of RTS game ever made...[/small]
I love watching my brother play Guitar Hero, 'cause he's insanely good at it. Other than that... well, my first Deus Ex experience was actually watching rather than playing. Fine by me; that game had an amazing plot, and simply watching it like a movie, it still held up.
I love watching people suck at games, just so I can laugh at them. most recently, L4D2.
[small][small]Dusty: hey, why weren't we in it?
Smitty: we were, just a few pics and some songs
Ox: pff we coulda kicked any of those zombie asses
Dusty: Yeah, we should be the main characters!
Jake: C'mon guys, really? we coulda got hurt!
All: SHUT UP JAKE! [/small][/small]
I love watching people play games that I've never played. If I've played it already though, I get incredibly frustrated because they're not doing things the way I would/want them to -.-
JAVGW (Just Another VideoGame Webcast) is nothing but you sitting there watching people play games while making comments over the top of them.
It's a good laugh when I'm bored.
I love watching people play, especially horror games. I get to anxious playing those kinda games, but if I can sit back and just watch it like it's a movie, I'm good.
well i don't mind but i get bored pretty quickly. but i can not watch some one if they suck i just feel the need to rip their controller from their hands and just fucking do it. so the better they are the more i enjoy it. but when my dad was trying to play super mario galaxy i had to leave the room at some points.
I watch people play games all the time. Mostly through playthroughs on youtube, or when I go over my friend Matt's house because I usually provide the game I tend to watch him. As long as I'm interested in the story I can watch a game like a movie.
