Water Temple is not the hardest temple.

Hey escapists, At the moment I'm playing through OoT on the 3DS (its a blast btw) but I've recently arrived at the Forest temple and SHIT it's harder than I remember, I claim that the Forest Temple is harder than the Water one.

All the temples are fairly easy if you've played it once. If you haven't the water is definitely the hardest, just trying to figure out all the different water levels to each area, etc.

As for most arduous however, I would say that's the shadow temple. There's a lot of cheap crap that can get you in there that has made me angry before.

I had the most trouble with the shadow temple and the well. I would practically shit my pants every time I turned a corner.

There's a certain order you can do the game in where you end up -1 key, right? I somehow managed the revese in the same temple, and kicked Phantom Ganons arse with +1 key. Not too sure how.

Yeah something like that. It was a shame too, cause I was enjoying the game quite a bit before that happened. It wasn't perfect and it hadn't aged well at all, but it was enjoyable. (I played OoT after Twilight Princess, Wind Waker, etc.)

The Shadow temple was the hardest to me, really. The water temple wasn't really that hard, it was just arduous and time consuming with all the stuff you have to keep doing over and over again. Kinda like the Art Tower from Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness. Not hard, or even that challenging. Just irritating.
As far as the forest temple is concerned...eh, it was a pretty good one for puzzles and such, but I personally never found it that hard.

The forest temple was much nastier than the water temple for enemies, but the water temple is an obnoxiously long bore-fest. Especially when you don't have the path figured out.

Ironically, the Master Quest water temple is amazingly short IF you're paying attention.
