I always liked the idea of writing a note:
[Insert name of person who annoys you] Is going to kill me. He said he was gonna make it look like an accident, and that they will never catch him...
Then just keep it in your wallet, just in case you ever die in an accident.
You would never get someone convicted, but they sure would have their lives turned over for a while!
