We all have them, no chicks, just bros doing manly things. The other night my friends and I were having a "Bro sesh(session)" and we were at Cumbie's(cumberland farms) pickin up some much needed snackage. We were picking up our snacks, drinks, and slushies and were gonna head back to my house to game; no chicks just videogames, food, manliness, and movies all night.

Well, while we were picking up our num nums these other guys were also having a Bros Night Out. They come into the store in their Bro Gear: backwards flat-rim hats, basketball shorts, sports jersies, chinstrap beards, and polos. They immediately stroll over to the Arnie Palmer's and other various Arizona's and were checkin out the candy aisle. The one guy who was getting money at the ATM was like "Dudes the ATM is broken and I've got no cash now" and one of the others randomly starts yelling something about chapstick. In the parking lot there was a large SUV and a Mustang, so I yell to my friends: "what do you think? Did those guys in the store take the Bro Wagon or the Bro Stang?" Maybe they were baked or maybe it was just another Bro Moment, I don't know but it was the joke of the night.

Has anyone else had any, what we around Boston call "Bro Moments/Bro Nights"? You know, all man stuff for an extended period of time: movies, brewski's, videogames, loud music, manliness, maybe Brosef Stalin will stop by, and no chicks. We all need our Bro Time, don't we?

Sadly no. My friends are really only good to hang out with in small quantities, and rarely when they are together. This is why school is a good thing. I get to see them for a short time, then I can leave.

A few, mainly when rough break ups were involved among 'em.

And damn if it isn't fun.

Sorry, I hate the ubiquity of the word 'Bro'. I just...hate it.
I hear you, I'm not condoning its usage, but it was an appropriate description for the subject matter.

I'm sorry but no, I don't require this.

I find that I possess enough testosterone not to need to collaborate.

Yes. We play poker and eat things. Or we game, while wearing hats. The hat is a must. Not hat, no game. Simple.

EDIT: Oh and an example would be the time we went to Mcdonalds and ordered 50 cheeseburgers, there where 4 of us. It was horrible, but so worth it.

Sadly, no. Unless you count spending most of your time in your room, playing video games and hanging out here on the Escapist as manly.

I've had many a-bro moments in my life.

The most recent one was about a month ago, my friends dad died and after dealing with all the shit that comes with that, we all piled up in his apartment, and refused to go to sleep. We got some beers and some vidiya-games. So it was basically like 17 of us in about the size of a bedroom.

We had a Fifa 10 tourney, a NCAA basketball tourney, a NBA Live tourney, a NHL 10 tourney, a Modern warfare tourney, and yes, even a Halo 2 tourney.

My Stats: Fifa - 3rd place, NCAA - 8th place. NBA Live - 2nd place, NHL 10 - 1st place, MW - 1st place, and Halo 2 - 1st place. I did pretty damn well.

However, the coolest thing of all, was that after a while, we shut off the Xbox, and from 4 am to 8 am, we did nothing but talk about shit. From politics, to careers, to bitches, to sluts, to our childhoods, everything.

It was thee best bro-sesh I've ever had.

Yah! I love my guy time! It's always very sexually oriented and often involves good food, fine wine and sweet words =3.

But serious tho, I'd like some girl-time, yeah. With friends. That are girls. But I have only 1 friend that is a girl. So i tend to get sucked into the guy-night thing... Which I don't enjoy as much cause it's just like you describe it. Video games, greasy food and manlyness >>. Guh, sometimes I really wish one of them was transgendered (for selfish reasons...). Having someone that actually WANTS to try on my clothes would be awesome! XD or gay, cause some gays are sooo cute =3

I LOVE that! But guys barely ever do that... Your so over active, always have to "do" something instead of just sitting around talking. It's my favorite hobby, talking =3

Yeah I like to hang out with other guys now and then, but it always just ends in a brawl to the death. That's always a downer.

I... guess not. I don't do too many manly things with my guy friends, I hang out with my girlfriend most of the time. Though we do watch anime, eat oreos, drink beer, play games and make fun of godawful pop on youtube. So it's manly things, but with a girl? Shall the universe implode now?!

yeah, what happens at Bro Sesh stays in Bro Sesh, we can't talk around chicks because it wouldn't be MANLY. In all seriousness though, guys should be allowed to talk about their feelings every now and then..................I'm not gay.....................

We have "Man Camp" which involves drinking large amounts of alcohol, shooting guns, eating steaks, cussing alot and shitting in the woods. Sometimes we'll box or go fishing or climb a mountain.

On other occasions we'll go white water rafting, or partake in different desert sports. Then they're gun range days, in which we all just go shooting.

It's important to have some time with your friends when the bitchy girlfriends get left behind.

We barbecue or go camping, but we've never had a "no chicks" rule. The girls are our friends too.

They even shit in the woods with us. They bring toilet paper though, no "nature's TP" for them.

not much of a rule, it's more like "guidelines"
