OOC: Pretty sure Skyrim vampires, and vampires in most lore, are supposed to be soulless. To be honest I wouldn't even know how to define the loss of one's soul except by the loss of their conscious mind, but fuck it, lets go with it being more obscure than that. It isn't going to be a big part of her character anyway, after this transition to vampirism at least.

@Nailik, is Erica flying or on foot?

OoC: Thing is, Tophat will probably freak out if it notices that she hasn't got a soul. Its entire way of thinking on life is based around souls.

"AEanna? Are you there?" she shouts at the top of her lungs, which was met by a fair share of stares from bypassers.
No answer? Meh... It was worth a try.

"What are you looking at?" she snarled to the people now staring at her.

OOC: Only if she ends up wearing him again though. Or does he always sense the souls of others around him?

AEanna glanced up sharply as a voice called her name very loudly.
"What the...?" All of her senses were getting sharper, and she could hear exactly where it had come from. Scrambling to her feet, she went to the mouth of the alley and looked around the corner.

OOC: Whatever makes more sense. The soul really isn't a significant detail of her character anyway.

OoC: It does, at several occasions Tophat has had no body and still communicated with people around it. And if it can't feel a soul it can't send a telepathic message, not a big issue in this case.

OOC: Ok, if its likely to be an issue then forget it. The curse is physical and magical only, not spiritual. So, soul search would still be able to detect her.
AEanna looked through the crowd, and spotted Erica.She smiled and began to call out, then caught herself. Erica would want to take her back to the others. She would be unlikely to fear her, but the rest definitely would.

Erica made her way down the street, getting pretty annoyed at all the people staring at her.
Where could she have gone?

AEanna made up her mind. She couldn't run from the group. She would have no chance in this world on her own. She'd just have to hide what she had become as best she could. Stepping out of the alley, she ran to catch up, and called out to Erica.
"Erica! I am here!"

 

[Chungus]

"AEanna! there you are! Ommigosh, I was worried sick!"
Erica ran towards AEanna and hugged her.

AEanna tensed up as Erica hugged her. She did'nt know if her flesh was still as cold as Tophat said it was, but thought it likely. She prayed that Erica wouldn't notice.
"I am sorry. I went for a walk and I got lost. Very lost."

 

[Chungus]

Erica had no sense of touch and thus didn't notice AEanna's cold flesh.
"It's okay. I'm just glad you're feeling better!"

OOC: Alright well... I have a lab in 3 minutes. It's gonna be at around 3 hours long.

EMily resumed her ethereal form to rejuvenate for a bit.

"Thank you! I am feeling perfectly well now, actually. I can hardly believe it. Is everyone still on Joel's beach, or have they moved?"

OOC: Hey guys I'm back.

Four woke up and got dressed. She saw Mia was sleeping next to her and lay back down on the bed and watched Mia sleep.

While the others went off to the warehouse, Reginald, One and Two stayed back to discuss things.
"Right then guys, it's come to my attention that an opportunity for profit might come. I just want to know what you gents plan on doing should I 'play for the other team', so to speak."
"But I thought you were already..." One got cut off by Reginald slapping him.
"Not like that you idiot! I mean switching teams. Playing ball for Kessler if makes me a good enough offer."
"You know me boss, I'll follow you anywhere."
"If you go I will not follow, but I'm not going to rat you out to the others that you're planning something like this."
"I appreciate it, the both of you. I really do. Now let's get moving."
Reginald and the others caught up with Drom, Tophat and the rest at the warehouse.

Five was sitting on Erica's shoulder. He felt uncomfortable around AEanna, thought he couldn't figure out why. He decided he would try and keep his distance from her whenever he could.

 

[Chungus]

"No they went to some warehouse..."
Erica paused and began whispering.
"I ran from the place... they are in there, I could feel it. I... I am too scared to join the rest."

 

[Random berk]

[sub]"That makes two of us."[/sub] Aeanna muttered under her breath. Then she spoke louder.
"Do not worry. If you wish, I will stay with you while the others fight inside. They are all powerful enough that I would make little difference anyway."

 

[Chungus]

"I.. I'd like that. Thanks AEanna.

Say, did you ever found out what illness you contracted? I still can't put my finger on it..."

"Last night, I think I remember someone shouting about Charlotte and Laura being risen by necromancy. Perhaps it was Berethor, or Dromaeus. What do you think of that? The return of a dead body to life, I mean?"
