AEanna smiled at Tophat and Launa as they approached.
"I just got lost. Erica brought me back." As they approached, she could see the blood pulsing in Laguna's carotid artery, and in that of Tophat's host. For a moment she stared, fascinated, then forced herself to look away, repulsed that she was seeing her friends like this.
"Yes, I am fine." She said, eyes downcast. "I just needed to walk it off, that is all."

 

[Chungus]

"Ommigosh! How long have you been on my shoulder? I've been so focused on looking for AEanna, I didn't even notice you! Err... no offence."
Erica said to Five.

 

[Drakmorg]

"Please accept my apologies for startling you." Five said to Tophat as he nuzzled Tophat's face. "I was with you the entire time. Do you not remember Mia entrusting you with my care?" He said to Erica.

 

[Kirke]

(To AEanna: "I can tell something is wrong, be assured that I will not be freaked out whatever it is.")
"That's nice to hear."
Tophat looks at Five.
"Appology accepted, hello by the way."

"Hmmm. Nope, sorry! I've been pretty distant-minded."
She replied to Five.

I can imagine that you would not be disturbed by anything, you are similar to Joel in that respect. The others, they would not be so tolerant.

Dromaeus approached, still looking sour. He was still hung over, though not as badly.
"When is it that we intend to enter this building and find what we are looking for?" he hissed.

Laguna saw the elf staring at something. He weighed up wether or not it was worth asking, espicialy after that mess with Berethor. Laguna decided to wait until AEanna didnt seem so stressed. He looked over at Five. "Oh hey, a talking cat. I'm not even suprised by that anymore."

 

[Chungus]

Erica picked up on the mental conversation.
I wanna know too. You still seem kinda nervous.

 

[Drakmorg]

"Understandable. I could tell you were very focused on finding this other one." He said to Erica, pointing a paw at AEanna.
He turned to Laguna and said, "Greetings. I am Five. What is your name?"

 

[Random berk]

AEanna closed her eyes and sighed quietly. Now Erica was in on it as well.
I know what illness has afflicted me for the last few days. It was those mages in the swamps outside Morthal that gave it to me. Only they were not mages at all. They... they were vampires.

The girls come back from scouting ahead. Tired, their allow Beowulf and Valkyrie to take control. Transforming their bodies, the two walk over to the group.

"Laguna." He extended a hand, giving the cat a little stroke on the chin by way of greeting.

Five purred as Laguna stroked his chin. "You're very good at that." He said to Laguna.

"Hey girls, anything new?" Reginald asked Beowulf and Valkyrie as they approached.

Tophat turns to Valkyrie.
"Not much, Erica found AEanna."

"Scouted ahead. Nothing major in the area. So what are we waiting for?"

Valkyrie starts playing with the assault rifle, nodding at Tophat

What do you mean what makes that so bad?! This is horrible! Vampires are dead bodies controlled by spirits that should not be there! Compelled to prey on mortals for an eternity unless they are destroyed, drinking their blood, maybe spreading the curse to others! And now, I am one of these things! I do not even know if I am still myself! How can that be anything other than bad?!
