Rose ate the fish and felt a little better. She gave Doc a small smile.

The Kidd kept his raised eyebrow in place. He couldn't help but ask, "Who's Buddy?"

Laguna laid back and fell asleep. Today had been a pretty big day. He needed a rest.

Lambda scanned the armour, and detected several protection systems coming online. "Hostiles not detected. Why are you going into battle mode?"

Doctor Com patted her on the back, "Its alright. How about some ice cream."
He hands her some ice cream.

EMily made a silly sounding sigh at Four's comment. She then decided to tease Winona to ease herself and make herself laugh.

"Winona if you want to play gay chicken, you'll just have to wait until we meet Gwen again."

"Uh, yeah sorry. Buddy is a bit...excitable." I say to Lambda. Turning to Kidd, I realize I haven't had to explain Buddy to anyone in quite a long time. "Buddy is...well physically he's a chip they implanted into my brain, makes it easier and faster for him to communicate with me that way. What he does is...everything...or at least he has the capability to do lots of things. He can run all of my suit's systems for one. He also constantly scans the area and gives me important tactical data and takes care of doing big equations I can't be asked to do myself in a fraction of the time it would take me to do them." I say almost in one breath, wondering if I missed anything.

Rose completely forgot about the entire ordeal in the presence of ice cream. She happily licked it all up like a cat.

Four got up and followed Charlotte and Laura. She sang at Lambda, "Last chance!"
"Nothing wrong with that." Four commented at EMily
Yep. Nothing at all! Three thought. Despite Mia being unconscious, Three could still hear.

Most of what Tanner says flies right over The Kidd's head, but then he hears that Buddy can do equations. Kidd can't help but ask, "Where can I get one of those?" He figures with somethin' like Buddy he'd be that much closer to accomplishin' his goal.

"Oh, I know Four. I can't blame her." She laughs a little.

Beowulf and Valkyrie transform Charlotte and Laura's bodies into their own, and get up from the bed and walk over to Tanner.

"Oh? You mean like us? Sorryies! I'm Beowulf, Charlotte's Infinite Stratos AI core." she says cheerfully.

"Name's Valkyrie, Laura's Infinite Stratos AI core." he tilts his cowboy hat.

Doctor Com brings Rose on his back to Four, and smiled, "I have to go to bed now. Goodbye."
He puts four on the ground, and dissappears.

OoC: How soon until Rose acts like a teenager?

Lambda turned to Four. "Recommend privacy." She faced Tanner again, heard the intelligence about Buddy, and then checked her Idea Engine. It needed to cool down and recharge. She floated over to a corner, and put herself on standby.

OoC: I'm coming off for the night. And yes, Lambda did just tell you to get a room.

I'm glad I'm wearing a helmet, or else this Beowulf chick might see me drooling. "Uh...not exactly...he doesn't really have a personality to speak of. Technically there's no reason for me to have named him. If I want to tell him to do something, he already knows what I want him to do. I just like to address 'him' directly because it makes some things a bit easier, and I didn't want to memorize his serial number." I say. I don't say that having him around and talking to him directly makes me feel a lot less lonely. Don't know these people nearly well enough for that.

Jio just feels kinda lost in what is going on with the girls. Must be a girl thing.

Beowulf and Valkyrie walk back to the bed, and revert the bodies back to Charlotte and Laura, who yawned, but continued to be up...

"Hey Sweety! Did Doc teach you anything good?" Four asked, hugging Rose.
"Yeah! He taught that time is like a tree!" Rose responded enthusiastically.
"How so?"
"Um...don't they make clocks out of wood?"
"I should get you a better teacher. Go keep your brother and Mia company."
Rose ran off to go find Conall and Mia.

Four saw Beowulf and hummed seductively, but groaned as she saw Valkyrie. "Your loss." Four said to Lambda as she floated off again. Four walked over to Charlotte and Laura and said, "Oh don't tell me you two are thinking about sleeping now." An impish grin crossed her face.

The Kidd shrugs and returns his attention to the Journal. The Kidd had more experience in the Caelondian army than anyone else, but he ain't ever heard of 'I.Q.'. Despite not understandin' most of what was in it, the bits he could make out in that Journal were still some of the most fascinatin' stuff he can imagine.
