Sniper walked over to examine the object with out touching it, it was a security badge for the louvre meuseum near the center of Paris

Jio made it to his feet. A little slower than the others, though. It wasn't just relief. Using the Devil's Summoner had taken a slight toll on him. He was fine, but using it in a longer fight could prove problematic. He deactivated the effect and placed his O-Part back on his right wrist. "Everyone in one piece?"

Laura nods, while Charlotte walks behind Sniper. (Still in IS armor...*thud, thud, thud*)

"A badge for Musee du Louvre? Interesting...."

"Heh, yeah. No Worries." Sniper said to Jio with a satisfied smirk. "I guess we'll be taking in some of the local culture next." he said as he picked up the badge, inspected it, then tucked it into one of his pockets.

"Yeah I'm fine." Reginald took a drink from his flask and held it out in offering to the group.

The girls deactivate their armors.

Charlotte grabs the flask, and drinks from it. "AAHHH! That was good!~"

after sniper picked up his hand he felt a tingling in his fingers through his gloves only to look down and see that the black goo had eaten through part of his gloves

"Nice shooting you two." Jio said to Sniper and Reginold. "Depends. Is the local culture more bug men? Because I get the feeling we'll be getting plenty of that while we're here."

"Oh bugger!" Sniper shouted as he hastily removed his dissolving glove. He took the badge out of his pocket immediately and threw it to the ground, just in case. Luckily he always carried a spare set of just about everything he could, including gloves. "Anyone else wanna carry that thing?" he asked as he put on the new, fingerless glove.

Jio approached Sniper and the badge and used the effect of his left hand to absorb the black goo near them. He looked around for more of the strange substance. "You guys see any more? I can dispose of it using my left hand."

Laura grabs Charlotte and helps hold her up.

"Most of it dissolved when the creatures died. We should be fine."

"Thanks. I'm kind of impressed at how you just took those hits." Reginald said to Jio. He grabs the flask back from Charlotte, "Now don't go hogging it all!" He went to take a drink, "Aww piss, you drank it all. Oh well, plenty more where that came from." he took two bottles of whiskey from his pack, he set one on some nearby rubble and began refilling his flask with the other.

"Never mind, there is some over here..."

"Well it's not our job to clean up after those things. I don't know about the rest of you, but I think I'd be best if we went back to the plane. Maybe even set up a watch schedule." Sniper suggested.
