OOC: Null Rounds are shards of matter coated in Null Fields. Null Fields reduce reduce a pre selected value to 0 hence the name. e.g Varger has a Null Blade also the field around that reduces the resistance of anything it swings against to 0 allowing him to cut through armour. With Null Rounds the effects are two-fold, they render the point they come into contact with 'Null' before the Null Field dissapates, the energy from a Null Field collapsing propels the shot forward and increased speeds when it comes into contact with its target, giving the impact of Null ROunds a distinct 'double impact'

OoC: Since Nocturne would theoretically be a 0 or Null Object, firing said null weapons at him would simply cancel out. I'm assuming being a spirit would render him a Null object with your tech description

OOC: If it exists it is not Null. In the universe I created humans just shit all over the rules of the universe. Ghosts still have a presance, atoms, particles something that is manifested, and then again something to reduce to a Null value but the Null Field would have to be specifically designed to take it down, being unknown to varger's knowledge he won't be able to create a Null field to hit it. Varger is new, still learning his abilities and limitations and doesn't know how much of the tech and lore of his own universe due to his memory loss.

On a side note Varger would have joined in but hes firing his weapon into the air from a rooftop in frustration, he actually liked how Laura took the time to just talk with him without getting worked up about what he was.

Nocturne engages Shroud of Darkness, fading in front of Laura's eyes. His shield absorbing the attack, then uses Duskbringer behind him, utilizing the speed buff to dodge any after-effects.

Varger recieves an impact and stumbles slightly, his feet sprouting claws to anchor him in place out of instict. "The fuck." His eye-piece emerges and he looks around, scanning every spectrum, sub spectrum and particle flare setting on his visor until he sees something. He forms a Shard Pistol and begins shooting.

OOC: Varger is a cyborg but looks completely normal on the outiside. His skeletol structure has been supplemented with Faelon, a strong and mallable metal, he can make weapons out of any Faelon he has stored, change his body (Which incidently tears and opens flesh) and assimalate the cognative power of 'smart' people in a particularly gruesome manner. he has an inbuilt reastor which powers his systems and gives him super speed and strength.

OoC: If you want to play like that, then I'll have you know that Alteisn is Purely CQC combat... Range sucks...and you are in range... Plus, IS machines have shields, and this particular one has vision goggles that are made to seek out the enemy.... no matter where he goes

Nocturne focuses again and unleashes another Duskbringer, slamming into laura's attack head on. The power fluctuates between the attacks. Then an explosion. Darkness floods the area and an evil chuckle is heard "People are flames to be blotted out. Their twilight approaches."

Nocturne fades into shadow as quickly as he appears, the area getting brighter as his presence fades.
