Well, we have never succeeded in truly defeating him before. Even when I banished him to Deadside, he still evaded destruction and returned to plague us again. Why would this time be any different?

The Marines answered in unison "It is our duty, honour is granted upon victory nothing less of total and final. By his word. Tarkus spoke again. I know. I do not intend to give up or try to flee. I will remain with the others, and be destroyed with them if I must. She chuckled bitterly, and slipped the scroll back into her satchel. The information on it was the best hope that she had found in months, but it was useless if she was to die in this world anyway.
