OOC: I'm just gonna go ahead and bring some mooks in now. I can just get rid of them once some of the others show up so they don't wind up being a nuisance and get in the way of actual plot.
A figure atop a building watched through binoculars as Charlotte and Laura left. "Frumentarius, the mechanized ones have left."
"Good. The Profligates will be easier to pick off now. Begin the attack. Leave none alive."
A hail of gunfire assaulted the group from nearby buildings.
Reginald was quickly hit by several shots. "Damn! What now?!" He shouted as he dragged himself behind cover.

Laguna had been inspecting a particular bit of tech when the gunshots sounded. Luckily, he was away from the crossfire. Laguna grabbed his machine gun and ran over, taking popshots at wherever he saw incoming fire.

The gunfire stops momentarily and the group is addressed by a Legion Frumentarius standing atop a nearby building. "We have tracked you down 'Destroyer'. Now we shall take the lives of you and your comrades like you have taken the life of Caesar."
The gunfire resumes and a few grenades are tossed at the group.
Several Legion Assassins are cut down by EMily, Laguna, and The Assassin, but the gunfire doesn't seem to let up any.

Laguna ran to the others, ducking behind cover. "Please tell me I'm seeing things and we arent actually fighting romans." He reloaded, then switched out his machine gun for a sniper. He popped up, took aim at an Assassin's brainpan, and fired a ricocheting bullet.

The Frumentarius saw EMily to be the greatest threat and fired at her with his Sniper Rifle.
