Reginald saw the device and though, Now just what in the hell is this thing? As he slowly approached a crackle of energy flew off and hit him in the nose. Reginald couldn't keep himself from blurting out, "Zow! That bloody hurt! Oops."

Laguna heard an electric crackling. "That dosent sound good." He picked up speed, running to the source of the sound.

Seeing the rise in energy emitted, EMily and Winona nod to each other. And with that, they reach their calm states while clasping their hands together (not to each other, just to themselves). Inside they summon a vast amount of energy. Far more than EMily ever does when she has to reach Photon form.... FAR FAR more. Soon enough, EMily reaches a heightened state of her Photon Form, and Winona reaches her Boson Form, shining blue and green respectively.

Erica uses Soul Search, everything she sees gains a purple hue except for the nearby souls.
"Hmmm... I still don't see what's the mater.
And... oooh sparkling!"
Erica remarks as she sees the energy sparkle.

Laguna turned a corner and saw the spinning antenna. "What the..." He drew a grendae, ready to blow it up if needed.

"Odd... Ohhh! Now I see, haven't druken any water in about twelwe hours. That's probably it."
Tophat looks at the energy.
"Pretty cool, but what is it?"

The device takes the shots, the holes slowly being covered by clanking pieces of Faelon. Suddenly it splits in two, tethered together by a beam of energy and flies towards Laguna's legs in an instant. Like a Bolas they wrap around his ankles. Varger gets ready to move.

Laguna dropped the grenade with the pin still in as a beam wrapped around his legs and knocked him over. He tried prying it off, but he only got a shock for his troubles. "Little help?"

"Laguna!" EMily and Winona rush over to Laguna. With their heightened strength they pulled with all their might and the Faelon-energy cord snapped.

Tophat takes a step back.
"This doesn't seem good."

 

[Chungus]

"Laguna! Are you allright?!"
Erica runs over to him.

 

[Drakmorg]

"Ah! I'm getting out of here!" Reginald shouts as he sprints from the scene after Varger's machine started acting weird.

Laguna checked his legs for burns. "Thanks." He looked at the device. "So this is the jammer thing, right?"

Distraction succesful. Varger dons his armour and run out, one hand formed a Faelon Lance while his other formed a taloned hand. He sweeps up behind EMily and grabs her arm before firing the Lance into the floor as he ran off draggin the girl.
