OOC: I like AEanna too, but it's Random's choice, and I'll respect it. Besides, haven't had a big dramatic thing in a while. Plus, I kinda want an excuse for Laguna to go crazy on Regulus. As in, "I'll wipe you off the face of the earth you fucking bastard" crazy.

Dromaeus raised his shield as he saw the militiaman take aim, and the bullets struck it with loud pings. AS he shuffled closer, he swung the shield outwards and clouted the man in the face.

OOC: @Nailik Your favourite? Wow... I'd like to hang onto her, but to be honest, I'm kind of set on this now. It seems like a suitable way to end her arc. AS Gear says, its big and dramatic, and would affect at least a few characters in fairly big ways. It would have been kind of interesting to do Wacky's shipping stuff with her, but... meh. Hold off mentioning the bullets til the last moment, at least.

EMily and Winona arrived to see the group in combat with a militiaman. They both charged up their energy levels.

OOC: Hi everybody. So of course my phones internet picks today of all days to completely and utterly stop working, so I have no idea what has happened. I see, however, that AEanna is still alive...for now...

I wake up. I had spent most of the night quietly and carefully making what repairs I could to Lambda, when I must have fallen asleep. I clime into my suit and head out to see how the group is. I hear the sounds of battle and quicken my pace.

 

[Random berk]

OOC: Already got that part lined up Gear. I even have an epic line for it, which I think I'll have to Godmod Tophat to deliver.

AEanna writhed in agony. The bullet had shattered her sternum and passed into her spine. Like the others, there was almost no blood.

OOC: Well, I did have an idea of proving her innocence (perhaps after her death for dramatic effect), but I don't know that nature of the vampires Regulus has snatched versus AEanna.

 

[Chungus]

The militia hit Mia in the face with the stock of his rifle.
"Piss off!"
He rolled backwards and was suprised his leg didn't hurt anymore. When he looked at it, he found that the cut had healed completely. Well I'll be damned...
He got up, rolled passed Dromaeus and ran towards AEanna.

OoC @Silver: I suck at doing fights with mobs though. xD

EMily fired her intense electron beam at the Militiaman. Winona assisted by firing Z0 shots from her hammer, acting as invisible punches.

OOC: Well, at least all the delays mean that there's a decent few people on now. Did Drak leave?

Dromaeus whirled around.
"Get back here!" He roared, dropping his weapons, readying his bow and drawing an arrow.

Laguna looked around for someone, anyone. "We need a medic over here!" He looked back at AEanna. "Hold on. Just tell me what's wrong, I'll do what I can." He didn't see the militiaman running towards them.

Knife finishes removing the fuel cans, and grabs the bag of stone balls. Slinging it over his shoulder, he returnes to their temporary camp.

The militia man was hit by the attacks from EMily and Winona, and fell backwards, heavely wounded.
"F-fuckin' hell... I.. am not dyin' until I've had my revenge..."
The man slowly got up and fired his rifle at the girls as he walked closer to AEanna.

OOC: Boy does this sound familiar. This is pretty much how I felt when I had William die. I'm sad, but I'll respect your decision, @Random.

I arrive at the scene of the fighting and see Laguna. "Hey, what's happening?" I ask I scan for enemies.

OOC: @Shadow I just think that its a great way to take her out of the story. Sometimes a brilliant death can turn a great character into an unforgettable one. Take John Marston for instance. He was awesome, but walking out of the barn like that, knowing that he had only eight bullets, knowing that nine men were going to die, and that his family would be saved by his sacrifice? Epic.

@Outis Exactly. You know what I'm talking about. Sherman is still memorable, and as well written as he was, his heroic sacrifice is a big part of that memory.
