"Ah. Unfortunately these are only white soul gems. They can store the souls of lesser creatures such as wolves, bears, trolls, that kind of thing. The one that Dromaeus had was a black soul gem. They will hold the soul of a higher being, but are rarer than white soul gems and harder to obtain. I am afraid that I do not have one."

OoC: @Nailik Medivial fencing, think one/two handed broadsword.
"Fours mech still needs fixing."
Tophat picks up two sticks from the ground and gives one to Rose.
"Try and hit me."

Laguna nodded at AEanna, then looked at Rose. "We need to get ready first."

 

[Chungus]

Time to set up some defences.
The unatural storm intnesified and formed a tornado of Warp energy around the coliseum.
Then hundreds of deamons spawned around it and began digging a moat.

"Okay then." Rose said. She took a deep breath in before focusing. She made a wide swing at Tophat's left side with the stick she was given.

Yes-Man was still working on tuning up the Komodo while Four sat inside and gave him feedback.

Tophat jumped back then made a quick stab towards Roses chest.
"Remember, be unpredictable!"

 

[Drakmorg]

Rose raised her stick in a panic and wound up parrying Tophat's stab. Then she brought it down quickly, trying to hit Tophat on the right shoulder. I'll try!" She shrieked.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

Laguna walked over to Yes-Man and Four. "Done with the robot yet?"

 

[Kirke]

Tophat raised its stick diagonally, the top of it to the right of Rose, making her stick slide of to its side. It then made a light strike towards the left of her chest.
"Good!"

 

[Random berk]

AEanna laid Topat's sword down near him, then looked to the Colosseum. She could see the unnatural energywhirling around it and shivered. She wondered if the Witcher had faced Regulus and failed.

OOC: Are we intending to fight Regulus tonight, or waiting until Ven comes back and fights him first?

OoC: @Random Think we're putting an end to the Regulus arc tonight, if everyone is good to go.

"I was just putting in a few fortifications and such! You know, to make sure something like this doesn't happen again!" Yes-Man explained.

"And we're nearly done. Yes-Man says it'll be good to go once everyone else is ready to move." Four chimed in.

Rose ducked to avoid Tophat's strike and brought her stick up with her as she stood back up, aiming to hit Tophat in the elbow of his sword arm. A small smile started to grow on her face as she heard what Tophat said.

OOC: Good, good. I'm not sure if I'll be around for the whole fight, unfortunately. I have the worst of my exams coming up tomorrow and will have to be off by 1.

 

[Chungus]

The deamons had finished digging the ditch around the coliseum and disappeared back into the Warp.

OoC @Berk: I supose it makes more sense to wait, story wise.
I could trow some mooks at the party to kill time.

OOC: I won't be on much for the next three days. If you intend to do this today then I'll play my part, but if it has to go on tomorrow then I'll have to stay out. Whatever works though.

OoC: I thought we were doing it tonight, but I'm good no matter what we do. @Nailik, Regulus is your bad guy, so it's your call.

Tophat jumped back, avoiding the stroke. It the made a faint strike towards the right of Roses neck, but changed in the middle of it to a slash at her left knee.
"Don't forget the footwork!"

 

[Drakmorg]

Rose hopped over Tophat's slash and made a lunging stab at his chest. She was starting to get a bit more confident with fighting now and seemed less panicked with her movement and attacks.

Tophat sidestepped the stap and grabs Rose by the throat with its left arm, holding the sword against her stomach.
"Well done, but you put to much of your powers behind your strikes, making you unbalanced."
