"So I'm guessing you know this guy?" Joe said getting into a better stance, a pale green aura forming around his gloves.
"Like me, he's a Recipe. A Demon. Number 8i, Adramelech of Avarice. He's dangerous. Don't take him lightly."
"We probably shouldn't be here right now. He's no weak opponent..."
"Now, Jio, why did you have to spoil the surprise? And you lot can call me Bellerophon. I'm sure we'll be meeting again, in the future. And I will certainly be taking your core, boy."
"Bellerophon, come on, let's fight them. The two of us can-"
Bellerophon looked down at Deliverance. "Little fool. How many times do I have to tell you to wait?" He smacks the boy with his right hand and sends him flying through a storefront window, causing the alarm bells to ring in the process.
"We probably shouldn't be here right now. He's no weak opponent..."

Bellerophon looked down at Deliverance. "Little fool. How many times do I have to tell you to wait?" He smacks the boy with his right hand and sends him flying through a storefront window, causing the alarm bells to ring in the process.
"I do not know. There is just something there. I cannot describe it." Lambda kept focusing on the memory, then what the voice said and the event clicked in her head. "Nu is me! I am... I'm a lie, I'm not real, I..." The feeling in her chest grew, spreading numbness.
Joe looked over at the building and then back to Bellerophon. "Um... why exactly did the delivery boy need to wait over there? It seems fairly impractical... Now he has to walk all the way back over here..."
"Lambda. Don't you ever say that. Don't ever think that. You are a person. A person with thoughts, opinions, and emotions, just like me or any other real person." I say to her with a great sense of urgency.
"But I'm just a figment, a fragment, a construct! I-" The memory reached the point where Tophat removed Nu. The numbness in Lambda's chest exploded, spreading throughout her body. She went limp, falling against the back of the bench, breathing raggedly.
"Yes, this is what I was referring to. And yes, we've been fighting them for the last two years."
"We aren't trying to kill you, right now, dear girl, for our own reasons. And the delivery boy will be walking back to our airship, stickman. So, I don't care about where he 'waits'. You all might want to leave, though. I doubt the authorities will be too understanding of all this damage if they find you among it." Sirens could be heard in the distance as Bellerophon walked over and picked up Deliverance. "We shall see you all again, soon." Before anything could be said, Bellerophon and the boy disappeared into a wall and vanished.

Right... Time to step in. The voice blocked out the memory, obscuring it from Lambda's mind.

"Damn it! Not again." I say as I pick Lambda up and bring her to the med bay. I hook her up to several life support systems, removing pieces of armor when necessary, then drag a chair next to the bed she is on and sit. "Lambda, can you hear me? Can you speak?" I ask as I hold her hand and look at her visor covered eyes.
"Hmm..." Joe looked over at the store, then over to where the sirens were coming. "Think we should fix it?"
Lambda's breathing calmed as the memory disappeared. [sub]"I'm... I'm not a real... Well, maybe you are a real mind, but I am just a puppet."[/sub] She tried to grip Tanner's hand. [sub]"Thank you, but I am not..."[/sub]
