For the dead civilizations we look for clues as to how they were destroyed, and what they used to defend against whatever killed them. Sometimes, they destroy themselves. Rarely, it's a third party. A few have been wiped out by the dark being. The living ones we try to live in for a longer amount of time to get to know them. Some are dystopian and mechanical, while others are progressive and erratic. Both the dead and the living serve to aid us in understanding how a civilization works and prospers, as well as what can go wrong."

Winter took the cupcake, playing with the frosting as she playfully took a piece and put it on Four's lips before she kissed Four.

"Definitely... I guess that cooking lesson will have to wait for tomorrow, huh?" Winter thought for a moment.

"Oh! That reminds me, Charlotte Dunois came by earlier when I was gone, and handed me this!" Winter takes out a holovid recorder.

She didn't say so, but of some one destroying everything was exactly opposed to her own plans.

"I see. So you four just see these civilizations as places to learn. Okay." Jin made himself appear busy looking over some gauges and such on the control panel.

Mr. Dandy appeared outside of Tanner's ship. He strolled a few laps around it, tapping it with his cane at regular intervals as he went about examining it.
