"Organised? No. They're basically mindless. Trouble was, they tended to crop up in highly populated areas. Back in the early days we were soft, unprepared, and had no idea how to react. We treated theinfected like victims of any other plague. Imagine it. A person reanimates in a crowded hospital, bites a few people, and is restrained. The medical staff that were bitten go home that night, get sick, and reanimate in their neighbourhood. Or maybe they stay in the hospital, and infect the whole place. It spread very fast because our lifestyle allowed it to." James said, describing the spread of the plague in a colder, more objective manner, before listening with interest to the description of runes.
"I can understand the value of fire resistance, but what does a water based attack consist of? In our world, water was only used as crowd control, calming riots with high pressure hoses and such. And what form to these runes take, anyway?"
