Gwen got herself undressed and got into bed.

@Slenn: Good night.

Winter also got undressed, laying next to Gwen. I wonder what tomorrow will bring... she thinks.

She kisses Gwen good night, still thinking to herself.

No. I'm tired. I just want to sleep now.
Four decided she didn't want to be by herself tonight. She still needed time to herself, but the night wasn't the time she needed. She pocketed Tanner's visor and left, locking up her ship as she did so. She resolved that she needed to get that new hole fixed as soon as possible on her way out. She found her way onto the Big Orphan and made her way to the room that Gwen and Winter were basically sharing.

 

[Chungus]

I see. Goodnight then.
Hope you can get some rest. Erica made her way to a part of Four's mind that wasn't too active and went to sleep.

OoC: I suppose that's it for the day.

Winter got up as Four entered the room. "Oh... Hey..." she said.

 

[Drakmorg]

"Hey..." Four responded as she started to get undressed.

"You loved him didn't you? He is a good man, and it burdens us all that he passed away..." Winter said, looking down. There really wasn't much that she could say to make Four feel better.

Will I fail now, as I did the rest of them?

Four let out a sigh. "He is a good man. The only man I ever loved." She said as she climbed into bed.

Winter closes her eyes with a sigh as well. "Does any of this make you feel uncomfortable though? I understand that pain takes time to erase, and even then, it remains with us forever. The only thing that we can do is remember the past, live the present and prepare for the future..."

"I know that. This isn't the first time I've lost someone close to me. [sub][sub][sub]Though I doubt this will turn out like the last time...[/sub][/sub][/sub]" Four said, still sitting up in bed.

OoC: My first time on a thread like this. I'm not sure exactly how this works, but I'm not going to read through hundreds of pages so I'll just go by the last few posts for my contribution if that's ok.

Meanwhile...

Lucy the Bombay kitten walked lost through the dark neighborhood, incidentally not too far away from Four and Winter's house.
(dialog surrounded by 2 ' equals thoughts)
Lucy: 'Where am I? Where did my humans go? I fell out of a big moving box with 4 round things on the bottom. It made roaring noises'
Then...
Lucy:'?!? A mouse!'

Winter gives a light kiss to Four. "You won't lose any of us. I promise you that. Even... even if I die, I'll make sure to guard you. No matter what happens, I will be here for you... Gwen, Jin, Jio, Joe, Lambda... Everybody." She grips on to Four's hands, bringing them close her mouth.

"This I promise you." she concludes, her blue eyes looking into Four's.

@New Guy: Sorry, but we are turning in soon.. And we are in some type of ship... that is sealed.

"...Even if you die? What's that supposed to mean? Is there something you aren't telling me?" Four asked. She quickly added, "Not that I don't appreciate the sentiment.

@immortalfrieza: Yeah, we're about to be off. You've got the right idea though. I suggest coming back in a few hours when some more people get on.

"No, I'm not hiding anything from you... But earlier today, I received a message from the 'Bio-Works' lackeys... They want to me to come alone to a factory they have under their control. In the morning. But I'm not going in there for tea and cookies. I'm going there to fight, for myself and to free any remaining experiments. Also for them to not even think for taking one of our own for their sick experiments. I will return Four, no matter what."

"I. Will. Return."

"I trust you to come back...but you weren't really thinking of going all by yourself, were you?" Four said, concern in her voice and visible in her deep purple eyes.

Winter smiles. "Obviously not. But I might scout out ahead, if that's ok..." she says, cuddling next to her.
