@New Guy: Sorry, but we are turning in soon.. And we are in some type of ship... that is sealed.

OoC: Ok, I'll modify the my post somewhat to reflect that, hopefully my new character can actually fit in this story somehow. I'll be going to bed myself so if anybody wants to help contribute to the continuation of my character's story feel free.

New Character: Bombay Kitten Lucy
Personality: EXTREMELY skittish of loud noises and living things, but fiercely loyal, affectionate, and protective of those that earn her trust.


Meanwhile...

Lucy the Bombay kitten wandered lost through the dark twisting duct work deep in the bowels of the ship, incidentally not too far away from Four and Winter's part of the ship. She had been there, undiscovered, feeding on vermin and hiding from everyone as long as the ship had been sealed.

(dialog surrounded by 2 ' equals thoughts)
Lucy: 'So hungry... See 2 big things walking around through the holes sometimes, they scare me!'
Then...
Lucy:'?!? A mouse!'

 

[Drakmorg]

"Okay...just be careful...for me at least. I don't know what I'd do if I lost two people important to me so quickly..." Four said, returning Winter's cuddle.

"Even so. I will always be here for you." Winter says, handing her a small pendent.

"This little thing I made myself. It's a pure Koltanium memory shard. I put a fragment of myself and some of Jerome Tanner in it as well. It also turns into a dagger like such...

Spoiler: The pendent transforms into a dagger, then reverts back

"Finally this.." she takes out a dogtag that reads.

"Apparently the Crusaders are good at what they keep. I want you to have these. In case of anything." Winter smiles, handing Four the dogtag and kissing her lovingly.

Lucy: 'Yummy!'

Lucy chases after the mouse, she coincidentally ends up in the vent on the ceiling just above Four and Winter's room. The combined weight of Lucy and the mouse causes the somewhat rusty metal floor of the vent shaft to bend slightly. Suddenly, Lucy leaps on the mouse, catching and killing it quickly on the weakest part of the shaft...

OoC: That better?

EDIT:OoC: Break the shaft and reveal the kitten to the world or not?

"Oh! I'll treasure it always." Four said as she lovingly caressed the pendant. She took the dogtag and looked at it, smiling as she saw the status listed as 'Active'. "You said this pendant is a 'memory shard', what does that mean?"

@frieza: Yes. Also, I'd be willing to stick around for just a little bit longer and do something if you are.

"A memory shard contains the emotions, thoughts and nearly everything that a people, or animal if you wish, has until the point of their death. You can replay those moments of our time together, and some of my past through these. From what I got from the Crusaders main banks, they can also become sentient after prolonged use."

"I love you Four, as I do with Gwen. Nothing bad will happen anymore, I promise you this."

OoC: Going to bed, good night! I will post something for the girls tomorrow about some events that happened midway through the night.

*CRACK* Lucy, with the mouse in her mouth, falls through the vent floor directly in the middle of the 2 girls.
MEEEEOOWWWWW!!!!
Lucy was stunned for the moment.

@Drakmorg Your move for a couple posts.

Four smiled at Winter and gave her a kiss. "I'll treasure it even more now. I love you too."
She saw a kitten fall onto the bed next to her. "Dawww! Where'd you come from?" She cooed at the kitten.

Lucy was out of it for a bit, but when she regained her senses she was terrified.

Lucy dropped the mouse and bolted under the bed.

'Eeeee! Big scary things! Get them away!'

Lucy trembles in fear.

 

[Drakmorg]

Four looked under the bed, idly twitching her cat ears. "Aww, what's wrong? I'm not gonna hurt you." She said softly and sweetly.

OoC:Ok, I'm off after this post.
If anyone wants to continue this storyline here are some ground rules:
1. The idea is to have a inital bonding period, around 10 or so posts, then have a rather loyal, clingy kitten companion that loves Winter and Four and will follow them around everywhere, she will act amusingly and rather fruitlessly to protect the both of them if she thinks they're in trouble as well.

2. Write things and dialog always from the perspective of a little kitten, describing to things rather simplistically. Also, no words that the other characters can understand, just thoughts.

Lucy stared at the big thing, it smelled like a little 2 legged thing and also little like a cat at the same time. She was too scared to move much.

Lucy:' Big thing scary! ???? It smell funny.'

Lucy and Four stared at each other for a few minutes, their cat ears seeming to almost twitch in tandem.

@Drakmorg Give my character a shot if you want.

@immortalfrieza: Eh, it's pretty late for me, I think I'll just go to bed now. G'night!

Four could see that the kitten was just staring at her. "It's okay. You can sleep down there if you want. Good night." She said to the kitten sweetly as she climbed back into bed and fell asleep.

Spoiler: Slight explicit, what happening before

Just before Winter went to bed, she asked Gwen and Four to one more night with her. They both agreed. Obviously moving the kitten out of the room.

As the three tossed and turned in the bed, moaning with pleasure of each other's company a deep thought crossed Winter's mind. Do we actually understand each other? Is humanity ready for ascension? But not in the way that the Crusaders want it....

Though Winter's thoughts were completely independent with her actions with Gwen and Four, this thought continued crossing her mind. When the three where finally finished, Winter looked back at her life, as the memories of her past returned. She looked at her stomach, where the secret dogtags were held for all the experiments.

Now that I look back at it, meeting these two... I guess that my life is complete, one way or another... I love them both, and I will protect them, even beyond death if it comes to that... I will not allow the past to reflect my present and my future.

Winter finally got up. Let's see what the future holds. she thought turning to Four and Gwen. She lightly kissed them, writing down a note to where the building was, before getting dressed and leaving the room

She then creates another Koltanium memory shard for Gwen and removes the remaining dogtag from her body and places it next to Gwen's bed, with a note for her.

Roland lies down on the ship floor in the Big Orphan. He slowly drifted off to sleep.

Death sighed.
"Good luck, everyone. You'll need it."

[HEADING=3]MEANWHILE: CHAPTER 5: END GAME[/HEADING]

Winter quietly approached the factory where the 'Bio-Works' members waited. As her left arm became a small cannon, she fired at the two guards in the front, killing them both. She quickly absorbed their bodies.

Well, phase one... I just hope that the rest of them will wake up soon... She then kicked open the door and went inside

OoC: Back. I read through all the stuff I missed and... I thought Tanner's death was bad enough, but reading through all the reactions to it... that really sold it. Great writing everyone.

And is anyone actually on, or am I talking to myself here?

Winter ventured deeper into the factory, killing any of the security guards wearing their haz-mat suits. This is...too easy...

She rounded a corner and saw a familiar figure infront of double doors. An infectious pus of human flesh radiated from the behind. The Ultimate being has been activated.

"Hello there Winter." said AE00.

"Out of my Andrew." growled Winter. AE00 opened his arms, opening the double doors.

"Gaze upon perfection... The true meaning of being a mother to a race." AE00 grin.
