"I see. That is quite disturbing Erica." She said, quite sternly. "The Nords -and indeed a number of cultures- have entire philosophies focused around battle. Though it is not universally consistent, most consider it dishonourable to attack an opponent who is fleeing or surrendering, in part for the same reason as it is wrong to kill the innocent. A fleeing enemy is not a threat to you. They are weaker, and to attack them from behind is to treat them as prey, rather than someone who wishes to take your life."
