"It is not pleasant, not knowing if there is a way to heal these strange diseases and afflictions." Even as she spoke, she was smiling with some relief and hugged Erica back.

Garrus noticed the bustle of activity around the scruffy looking human in the strange headgear and shrugged, before jerking his scaled head at them and setting off in that direction. Saressa nodded and followed, with Javik at the rear, his two pairs of eyes constantly darting around and taking in the surroundings.

Erica let go of AEanna and smiled as she looked up at her. "Tophat has been following three directives. The first being protecting the group. The second being following orders from us, and the third being looking after itself.

Erica blew a morose sigh as she looked at the ground. "I don't know... We'll just have to wait and see just what exactly happens." She looked back up to AEanna and forced herself to smile, although the doubt was still obvious in her eyes. "Maybe it won't be so bad. ...I once had bad stuff happen to my soul, but still I returned relatively the same."
