"Yes... yes, you are right. All will be well. He will be fine." She turned to watch Tophat work, wringing her hands in front of her chest again.

Garrus and his officers reached the group and stood silently, taking in the information they could gather from the conversation and looking on, each one perfectly at ease, yet alert to any change in the situation.

Tophat started rebuilding the emotional centre, while Tophat's body punched Heavy in the solar plexus and took back Tophat.

AEanna took Erica's hand and squeezed it briefly and reassuringly, her large eyes never moving from Tophat. She tensed as he punched Heavy, but relaxed when it came to nothing.

As everyone waited, Javik scowled and backed away from the group, pacing back and forth as he scanned the camp and the surrounding trees with all his eyes.

Tophat's expression changed, and it seemed surprised.
"Well this is strange..."
It said as it looked around.

 

[Chungus]

Erica gasped, sounding like she was suffocating when she heard Tophat's voice return to normal. "Tophat! You're back!" She exclaimed, overjoyed to see the process was sucsessful. She let go of AEanna's hand and ran over to Tophat, hugging it.

Noel finishes getting dressed, she then walks down the hallway.

AEanna placed her hands over her mouth and laughed with delighted relief on hearing Tophat speak as normal.
"Praise the Divines, it worked!" She cried out, her voice wavering with emotion. She was about to go to him when he shoved Erica away, and she gaped in shock.

Garrus and Saressa exchanged a glance, and Saressa shrugged.
"Don't look at me, I don't have a clue what just happened. It... sounds like good news though?"
