Makoto gave a small smile, then moved her tail, draping it over herself and Grace at about stomach height. Grace wanted something to stroke, that should do it. She rested her head on Grace's chest, then closed her eyes again.

Gerry gave a small smile to Val as he walked into the kitchen. He was not very hungry, so he started working on drawings he made of the surrounding area.

Grace did indeed start stroking Makoto's tail, making sure to be very gentle so as not to disturb her again.

Valentine made a cup of tea and a small sandwich, she sits down.

Makoto's tail wriggled slightly under Grace's touch. Makoto sighed.

OoC: If the plot thing is starting up soon, I may join that.

Grace gave a quiet laugh as she played with Makoto's tail.

 

[Chungus]

Kefka flew back to his tower.
All across the globe, more violent quakes could be felt as more landmasses shifted, moving towards those that Kefka had assembled in the Atlantic Ocean.

Goddamn...Guess that explains why his gun was fired recently... Four thought as she read the note.
"Hmm? Oh hey Erica. It's an explanation." Four said, handing Erica the suicide note. "...Anyway, I'm afraid I have some bad news to deliver." she said after a pause. She walked off and headed back to the bridge, then contacted the Cutting Blade. "This is the Tanner responding, Cutting Blade. I'm afraid I've got some bad news. Dio and...that other guy, don't think I learned his name, but he wore armor like yours...we found them both dead."

The wriggling and movement increased as Grace kept playing with the tail. Eventually, the tail was running along Grace's body, from her waist to her chest.

Grace hugged Makoto's tail tightly.

Gerry continued to draw.

OOC: Gonna take a shower.

Erica took the note handed to her and 'read'it using the device that reads text aloud. When all this is over, I really should learn to read myself...
Once the device finished reading the note, Erica's face turned slightl pale. She sluggishly put the reading device back in her pocket, then stared at the note for a while. Eventually, she just dropped the note. [sub]"How could he..."[/sub]
She lost her balance as one of the tremors rocked the ship and smacked into a wall.

"...Copy that... Excuse me Tanner, I... Have to go."

The tail stopped as Grace hugged it. They lay there for a while, then a tremor hit the ship. Makoto yelped as she was practically thrown out of the bed, her tail slipping out of Grace's grip and the blanket tangled around her. After wretsling with the blanket, Makoto eventually got free and stood. "What the..."

 

[Wackymon]

Heavy, who was on the ship, crashed into the wall.

 

[Kirke]

Tophat crashed into a wall, cursing and swearing.

Valentine shakily held her tea without spilling it.
this is where the fun begins....
She said with sarcasm.

The tremors woke Noel who had been sleeping under a tree with Austin.
Huh? what was that?!
She said out loud.

Erica regained her footing, leaning against the wall for balance. "What's going on?" She asked with a panicked tone.

 

[Drakmorg]

Four sighed as contact with the Cutting Blade ended. Well that sucked. Then she got knocked out of her chair by the tremors and fell face first onto the floor. So did that, but not as much.
She stood back up and took the controls, then had the ship hover a few feet off the ground so the quakes wouldn't affect it. "Sounds like we need to get a move on." She said to herself, heading out of the bridge.

Gerry put his book away and stood close to Val.

Grace carefully got out of bed. "I suppose we should see what that is about." she said almost sadly as she started to get dressed.

Heavy charges after Four, ready to fight.
