@Ven: Personally I've never really cared for characters whose only personality trait is 'Badass'.

"Stop following me." Four simply said to Heavy, getting more and more annoyed with him. She waved at Valentine and Erica before going around behind the ship. She came across the scene with Dio and Dalik. "...Well...damn."

OoC @wacky: Heavy is still one of your better characters. He and Erica won't be having any more chats though.

Erica walked up to Four where she saw the headless bodies and Dalik and Dio. She stumbled back in shock and gagged, nearly trowing up. "Oh...! w-wha--" She blurted out, her sentance interupted by more gagging. "What happened?!"

Makoto shuffled down, resting her head on Grace's chest, and dozed off. He tail stuck out from under the blanket, swaying lightly.

OOC: @Drak I find it unfair to shut out characters who are simpler and condemn them as 'worse' As @Gear said Marcus was an incredibly slow burn character. Master Chief is an awesome character, despite not having much of a personality, Dante has zero depth and hes still amazing.

the two then sat down in the shade, hugging each other. they then both fell asleep.

Four looked at the scene more closely to try and figure out what had happened. She had gotten rather used to seeing mutilated bodies, so the scene hardly disturbed her. "I don't want to jump to conclusions or anything..." She said as she picked up Dio's gun gingerly and looked it over.

@Ven: Sorry about the last response, like I said, site ate my post and I forgot to re-type this.
But anyway, characters whose sole personality trait is 'bad-ass', like Master Chief as you mentioned, are just incredibly 'eh' to me. Dante on the other hand, is an actually entertaining character because while he may not be deep, he at least cracks jokes and has some personality other than 'I'm good at fighting'.

Makoto's ears twitched as Grace stroked her head. She shuffled a little in her sleep, mumbling something.

OoC: @Drak I really don't like Dante. Yeah he does some awesome tricks and moves, but he's just so arrogant and over the top and he just raditates look-at-me-I'm-so-cool douchebag smugness. I much prefer Vergil.

Erica stood hunched over with her back facing Valentine. She coughed some more but eventually recomposed herself and stood upright again. She turned to Valentine and said, "Y-yeah... I'm alright... I can't really stand the sight of dead bodies. ...Especially when they're... blown apart like that."

OOC: I just don't believe that every characer has to be stupidly deep, with layers and layers of problems and such. John-117 was kidnapped before he was 10 to be inducted into the Spartan II program but he doesn't ***** and moan about it or demand 'revenge' He was forged into a soldier, an uncomprimising warrior. I love Master Chief. He's a no noncense fighter who is incredibly lucky. He doesn't taunt enemies, merely kills them.
