I noticed some talking about the vetran thread on the other site and the TDM thread. Here's an idea: why not just make two threads here? Mark them as:
We Are Our Avatars 3 (vetrans only)
We Are Our Avatars: Team Deathmatch (looking for new players)
Maybe set up a different group for the TDM thread to keep the chat log uncluttered.

@Saltyk It's kinda more combat focused, but not really. Like I keep saying, the focus is on the characters. There will probably be a bit more conflict, due to the main plot being for all intents and purposes a giant game of CTF, but it won't be all the thread's about. Characters can do prettymuch whatever they like, so long as it's within the established rules.
OOC: Seems like everyone is going off to do their school stuff, which is wierd since it felt like people have had enough time the 10 months this series has been going. I, luckiliy or unluckily bombed my A-levels and my parents think I'm lame so I have plenty of time on my hands.
OOC: If memory serves WAOA 1 started in either September or October, maybe january hell Im not sure. It seemed to do all right. Nearly 1 year for me. Now that @Trilby is nowhere to be seen, I'm the only person who has been here since page 1 of the first thread.
OoC: @Saltyk Well, the main points of the TDM thread are:
1) Attract new players
2) Try to limit it to just one overarching plot
3) Attempt to have an equal amount of heroes and villans
4) Have the story more focused on and driven by the characters
Really, it's not so much a spin-off, more an experiment. Maybe if it works out, we could try incorporating bits into the new thread. And if we start it during school/college/uni term time, we won't have players spread out over so many timezones.

OOC: Oh back in the day, when @Diablo just set us three fetch quests and we could come across whatever we wanted. Me and @Berk had to find diamonds in Africa and ended up fighting a Warlord and his compound. This was completely spontaeneus we just PVE'd for a bit.
@Gear A giant robot fights Godzilla in Tokyo, Swiftrunner and Michael have a battle in the rubble, Eragon and Dromaeus dueled, Eragon and Merc dueled, Preginald was still kicking around, Swiftrunner hunting Alrik, Preginald and Leon in a collapsed building. Man, it was intense.
@Gear: Well, I'm leaving to DC and NYC soon enough... Going to have I guess @Hatch: control Austin and... IDK @Drak: control Winter.

@Gear: Maybe, cause after that its getting close to the start of school and I won't be on until late, or not at all.
OOC: Because nothing was planned in WAOA, stuff just happened. There was no twist or anything. Rugal wanted to invade earth with portals, opening them released mooks who were free game. In downtime with Eragon I had him duel other sword wielding characters or practising magic. @Diablo left everything to us really until we actually fought Rugal, he didn't even bother controlling the mooks, they were the free-est game ever. Nobody got in a relationship, nobody talked about their crippling mental illness or suppressed negative character trait. Downtime was banter, nothing serious and fighting was just experimentation.
