OoC: @Ven Certainly sounds different and there were a few good ideas there, but I personally think that adding plotting, relationships, character dev, etc. in the second thread was a positive move. You have said in the past that not every character needs to be massivley deep and developed, and that's true, but an entire cast made of shallow characters is too far the other way. Having free-roam and a less intrusive plot sounds good though, heck that's actually what we're trying in the TDM thread.
@Wacky There are a few people in this thread that want to move to TDM, so we'd better wait for them. Besides, we don't really know how many other people RP on this site. It's entirely possible we could end up with no new blood.

OOC: Looking back...man I fucking nailed Ulquirra to a tee. @Gear I'm just really fucking disgusted by relationships, in this thread. There are no girls in this thread so the relationships just feel like nothing more than wank fests. its creepy in my opinion. Especially the lesbian ones.
As I said too much character dev is bad, real bad. WAOA lasted 389 pages. In that time Godzilla had done stuff, explosions, ambushes in corporate towers, literally every volcano on the planet exploded at once, scouring wars, sieges and battles. All within 389 pages because while people did talk they never said "I don't feel like fighting." they were like "Oh shit, if I don't respond the GM will fuck me and I'll let the team down." Nobody asked 'are we doing char dev' people just did and if something happened it happened without the current GM or aggressor going 'Oh right, you guys are chilling I'll come back later.' Nope, when @Trilby took over you had to act, really. Nobody sat anything out, everyone wanted to be a part of the whole thing which was small enough to not be be mind boggingly complex.

Changed my TDM character solely to Khiraen Goldhelm as well. Hes a Wraithlord so hes a freaking juggernaught, really tought, averagly fast and immensly strong. heres the interesting part however. WIthout a seer to guide his vision he will be subject to Wraithsight. Khiraen is dead after all and so sees everything as the dead do and is slower to react at times. At the start of each post I will roll a D6, on the roll of a 1 Khiraen stops moving, is hit automatically, cannot attack or defend himself for the rest of the post as he becomes lost in the shimmering images that is what he sees.

OoC: @Ven I admit there was way, way, WAY too much faffing around in this thread and thread two, but we can't just have no development whatsoever. We need to strike a balance. And the relationships, I was trying to stay away from that with Laguna, Lambda had hints, and Makoto... well, I wanted to try it out, Makoto and Grace had good chemistry together even before there was plans to make them a couple, and looking at Makoto in her home series, I had always suspected that she may swing that way. It just so happens that it was confirmed while I was playing her. I think after this is done, I'll try and keep myself out of relationships.
@Rosh Titans. One word. Also Shu. Joel was over-powered out of combat and weak in combat. He was death so it made sense he didn't die.

@Ven: Hakumen, I'm aware. But remember that AFTER Continuum Shift, he gains better control of Yukianesa. Not complete control, but better control.

@Rosh yes, unfortunately Yukianesa still tells him to murder everyone he just doesn't listen to it as much but I believe the actual ability of the sword is manipulating moisture in the air but it also amplifies certain emotions in the user....for Jin it amplifies his latent insanity however.

@Ven: Once again, aware, but his determination to save Tsubaki holds true as, overriding Yukianesa at times. Its going to be double sided way to play as Jin. He's obviously going to be asshole, and virtually insane at times, but deep inside, there is something beyond that. Hell, even as Hakumen, he still shows something with Tsubaki. Plus, it was stated that he would become Ragna's "Greatest Enemy" for he controls that Power of Order, and it holds Ragna as the epitome of 'chaos'.
OoC: @Ven With the exception of Kefka, cause he's tragic, and the Joker, cause he kind of made the archetype, I don't really like smug, funny, indesructable villans. Hazama is a prime example. I liked him at first because he was funny and his theme was awesome, plus he's a blast to play as, but he just gets so freaking monsterous and in all the games, mangas, everything, he has only had one defeat that wasn't a joke ending.
@Outis His sword, Yukianesa, can control and create ice, but it also affects Jin's head. It amplifies his feeling many times over. When under it's control, his dislike for Noel becomes murderous rage, and his grudging brotherly like for Ragna turns into full-on yandere love.

@Gear You'd hate Aizen from Bleach then. It literally takes an attack from Ichigo that causes him to lose all of his Shinigami powers to severly wound him and even then he begins regenerating. But hes weak enough for Urahara to come along and seal him with a custom Kido for 1000 years or something...because Urahara is a fucking boss. He has never used his Bankai on screen. I really want to find out what it is.
OoC: @Ven I've heard of Aizen. Apparently, he's actually kinda like Hazama. I really need to get into manga sometime...
