Pie Lord...? Erica thought, struggling to keep a straight face again. "...So, where can we find this Pie Lord?" she asked the gingerbread man, her voice sounding like she could burst in laughter any moment. Her jovial mood quickly sank when Bernard began spouting his nonsence. "This isn't heping..." she said to him.

"Why is this thing keep shouting in my ears!" The gingerbread man exclaimed as Bernard taunted him in his ears. "Have mercy! Going to the great dough ball in the sky is far more merciful than this!" It cried out. "You've taken my leg! I'll never run again! A gingerbread man not running is like a soggy pastry! Useless!"

"Answer my questions and I'll do my best to patch you up again." she said, then briefly looked up at the tower when the gingerbread man pointed at it. "The tower. Right Typical. Anything we need to know about the place? Traps? Any other sort of defences?"
