Joe looked overjoyed by Riou's remark. "Ya, once the Pie Lord is gone the creator can put everything right again." Joe nodded in approval.

Erica lowered her guard when she couldn't see any threats. She then turned to Joe and forced herself to smile, hoping to encourage him. "We'll stop him now."

 

[Saltyk]

"Well, do you know anything of that tower? Would there be a way in or anything we need to know?" Riou asked, looking off towards the tower.

"Well it's well guarded most of the time with a big perimeter, and it there's lots of different baked goods that they have like birthday cakes, cinnamon buns, rice crispies... I was able to get up about half of it by myself ten years ago, but they could have changed it in all this time." Joe said to Riou. "It looks larger on the inside though."

"No! There were more than we were told! It's not my fault." The muffin shouted, but before it could say anything else it vanished along with the mysterious figure.

Rose licked her lips in anticipation as she heard Joe talk about cakes and such. "So what's our first step then?"

"Well, I suppose that we have very few options here. We might as well go see what we can find..." Riou replied.

"Sure!" Joe said as he looked over at the tower.

"So... I don't suppose there's a way to get near it without alerting everything standing guard?" Erica asked Joe.

"Well... we could use the sewers maybe, baked goods don't like water." Joe suggested.

Grace and Gerry walk over to Joe and the others.

 

[Saltyk]

"Well, okay, Joe will that be the most effective way? This is your world, so I defer to you on these matters."

 

[Chungus]

"Sounds like a plan! Where's the entrance?"

"There should be a stick-manhole, over there..." Joe looked across the city surroundings. "There." Joe exclaimed, pointing over to a building, which hand a manhole near it. "we should bring the others along though. It isn't safe here." Joe said as he looked at Makoto and Valentine.

Grace nodded and picked Makoto up.

 

[Chungus]

"Don't look at me. I'm not exactly strong enough to carry anyone." Erica remarked as she scratched her nose.

Rose gave Gerry a friendly wave as he walked over. Then she nodded and hoisted Valentine up on her shoulders to drag her along. Not the most ideal solution, but it worked.

OoC: I was working under the assumption that they would be conscious, just not active... Otherwise, we can't really do anything while carrying unconscious people.

As everyone followed after Joe, they reached the manhole. Joe managed to get it open and moved the cover aside. "Ladies first?" He said questioningly with a grin. "Just kidding I'll go first." Joe climbed down the manhole.
