We Are Our Avatars III (Ended!)

"When my universe was made it was only to two of us, being a violent cartoon we'd fight each other. I'd always lose though... that's actually how I got the title 'The Guy that can Never Die'. It's rather complicated, but in one universe we were even step-brothers." Joe said. "I haven't seen him in these ten years but before he looked like I did but with a pair of sunglasses."

"Don't kid about that stuff. I hope we don't see him at all!" Joe said to Riou.

 

[Chungus]

Erica began walking backwards to turn to Riou and said, "Hey, watch it! You'll jinx us!" She wagged her finger, then turned back to Joe. "I see. So why the name Scarface?"

 

[Saltyk]

"Well, so far so good on that one. Hopefully, we keep up this run of luck. I'd rather we not have to fight too many enemies, if we could avoid it." Riou responds.

 

[Zepherus14]

"Well as I understand it, Scarface's name came from a separate creator, one that didn't draw us, and our creator stuck with it since Scarface was supposed to represent the other creator. Before that happened he was just known as 'the guy with the glasses'." Joe answered.

"This way." he made another turn.

 

[Chungus]

"So... He came from another creator, but still ended up here? How does that work?" Erica asked as she followed Joe.

 

[Saltyk]

Riou continued to follow Joe listening to the story. Guy with glasses? What a silly name...

 

[Zepherus14]

"No no... He's still from my creator, the name was separate, like if someone suggested a name for a baby or something." Joe said.

"You have to realize coming to the 3D world has expanded my world significantly. My world at the very start was only a city block. But it has steadily increased as time goes on. Not just mine but all the other Joes as well."

 

[Chungus]

"Ah, okay." After a while of being silent, Erica continued to ask, "Wait, so your creator made both you and him, yes still he made it so that you always fight? Why?
...And did you just say 'other Joes'?"

 

[Saltyk]

OoC: @Zeph Hey, I'll probably be going to bed, soon. I'm pretty tired...

 

[Zepherus14]

"Well... this is a fighting comic strip." Joe raised his hand and made a big sweeping motion. "It's kinda what's supposed to happen I guess, but this world has evolved passed being just a simple fighting comic strip, at least before the Pie Lord." Joe said sadly.

"And yes Joes. I'm the original Joe, although some of the people from the first 3D world called me 'Alpha Joe'. But I kinda knew all the different spin-off universes that came from me. We were in the millions. They weren't as strong as me, but they each had a different personality for the most part... I haven't been able to talk to them since the whole incident with the Pie Lord..." Joe said sadly.

@Salty: No problem there.

 

[Chungus]

"So this creator fellow made this world so where you fight this other guy over and over? I may not know alot about your world, but that sounds... just wrong, really." Erica replied, crossing her arms as she did. "Though the... other versions of yourself, if I'm getting this right sound interesting. Wierd, But interesting.
...Anyways. Are we there yet? It feels like we've been walking for hours."

 

[Saltyk]

Riou follows along listening to the conversation.

Gerry and Grace walk on in silence with their burdens.

 

[Drakmorg]

Doesn't look like we're getting there anytime soon. Small-talk systems engaged.
Rose turned her head to Gerry while still following Joe and said, "So, Geremiah. It's been a while since we've spoken. How have you been?"

 

[Outisakanobody]

"[sub]...Fine...[/sub]" Gerry said to Rose.

 

[Drakmorg]

"...Sorry about what happened between you and my half-sis." Rose hesitantly decided to say. "But it's good to hear you're doing alright, at least."

 

[Zepherus14]

"Well most people don't realize that what they draw has any significance, kids draw stuff all the time, and it makes new worlds, but how are they supposed to know that someone like me can come from it?" Joe said to Erica. "Almost there. This next bend and we can set up a camp or something."

Joe walked around the corner to find a maintenance room door. "This will work, come on." Joe said as he got te door open and let everyone get in.

 

[Outisakanobody]

Gerry only nodded, trying not to seem too sad. He and Grace follow Joe.

 

[Chungus]

"I dunno. I suppose they don't." Erica replied, then walked into the maintance room and looked around. "Not the most cozy place I've spent the night..."

And then a jellyfish fell on Erica!!
