OoC: @Hatch I don't even have any cards anymore... But the close matches are some of the best. Some of my most memorable wins were just barely pulled off. Like the time I beat a friend who I never even touched, making a comeback from 100 Life Points. That's right with 100 Life Points, I took out 8000. Or the time, I beat a guy by using clever traps to bind some of his big hitters (2 or 3 Nightmare Wheels) and forced him to attack with his big hitter and running straight into my Magic Cylinder. It could have gone either way, but clever use of traps won it. I could go on, but I think you know what I'm talking about.

OoC: @Salt, that's like me yesterday, I was on 100, my opponent summoned black luster solider and I use a trap card to negate it by paying half your life points (so 50 life points for me) he still had 4900 and I came back
Or another is where I was in 'time' (meaning the round was being countdown by a number of 5 turns, with first damage wins) and on turn 5 I had no monsters on feild or in hand, draw 1 card, summon a monster with 500 ATT and win
those are my best moments personally.
@Zeph, sadly, my tournament get's THOSE types of players and the type who are like AW WAT THE FUCK THE GAME IS SHIT or YES FUCK YOU ALL IM THE CHAMPION
which ruins the day slightly, funny pissing them off tho

OOC: My deck was great, I filled it with no tribute, high attack monsters with no defense and just hammered everyone I played. Who needs Blue Eyes when Dark Zebra is 4 star and has 1900 attack or Jurai Gumo who had 2200 attack and was 4 stars. Everyone I played hated me.

OoC: @Zeph You know what's sad? I think I know what deck that kid was using. And it's a lame one. You don't even get a turn. It's almost entirely Spell cards. The idea is to send his entire deck to his Graveyard in one turn and activate these traps that deal damage based on the number of Spell in your Grave. Normally, it's nothing, but in that deck it's easily 8000 or more damage.
@Hatch Aren't those the best? It's one reason I hate meta gamers. They take out all the fun. And they all have the same basic decks. I swear, at one point, I could predict a person's entire deck after his first move, if he was playing a meta deck. Or, at least, his strategy.
At my first tournament, I went against a friend and we had our best game ever. The first round took so long, half the people were finished. Our friends walked over thinking we were playing for fun. Probably our best match ever.
@Ven I had multiple different decks... Depended on my mood. Some had tributes, some didn't. Even had one that negated special effects, which was full of monsters with terrible effects. Like an 8 star with 2800 Atk that I could summon without tribute, but stats are halved. Only, with this card, that halving effect is negated. Trollolol

OoC: @Ven, My first deck was similar, but a bit more defensive.
Like summoning Labyrinth wall with 3000 Defense and stall till I can summon red eyes black dragon.
@Salt, Meta decks annoy me, that's why I run cute and fun decks

OOC: @Salty That was the basis of my deck, I had a few tributes with nasty effects and some traps and magic to mix things up and shield me if I got a bad hand. The trump card of my deck was Maha Vailo or whatever. 1550 attack. 4 stars. his ability adds another 500 attack to his whenever he had an item equipped so I gave him Malevolent Nuzzler which put him on 2250 then the extra 500 brought him to 2750. I had like 4 Witches of the Black Forest as well so I'd always have monters in my hand when they were destroyed due my decks low defense aside from my 5 or 6 2000 Def monsters. Over-all game plan was just hit people hard, don't let them keep monsters on the field to tribute and wail on them.

OoC: I have two decks. One is for brute force and spells meant to boost that even further, the other is full of traps and effect monsters. Man Eater Bug FTW.

"Wha...?" was Erica's first reaction to Makoto, as she was still grogggy. "Uhh... Yeah. I'm good. Just kinda fuzzy. You can put me down now though." Hearing Valentine, Erica smiled back. "Yup."

Makoto put Erica down gently, then looked at Riou. "Yeah. Joe's here somewhere, someone's gotta look for him."

Riou nods at Makoto. "Sounds good. I hope you find him."

OoC: My favorite deck including Dark paladin and Jinzo. If I played them both, I effectively shut down my opponents spells and traps. And Dark Paladin had 2900 attack and gained 500 for every dragon on either players field or Graveyard. And I'm a sneaky clever bastard. I would negate a Spell by discarding a dragon and let you attack with a monster that you thought could beat him with brute force. ALWAYS watch what I discard. Odds are, I'm much sneakier than you think. It was also aggressive as hell with no defensive monster except maybe Marshmallon and Spirit Reaper. And some that I would discard to negate attacks later by removing from the Graveyard. Sneaky I am!

OoC: I was just told that I'll need to go in two hours to drive someone to the doctor, nothing serious, but I'll have to leave at that point for a short while, not sure when I'll be back exactly. Just wanted to say it in as much advance as possible.
