AEanna nodded and accepted Valentine's weight with some difficulty, her armour rattling as she bounced her slightly to get a better hold.
"And you, Makoto." She said warmly. "May the Divines protect you whereever you go. May they protect all of you." She glanced at Erica and waited patiently for her to say her goodbyes.

Makoto smiled at AEanna, then turned to Erica. "Bye Erica. It's been one hell of a ride, huh?"
Winter and Austin turned to AEanna and Erica. "Farewell Erica... And have safe travels to wherever you go."
Heavy slowly walks up to Erica, and hands her a small little thing. Nothing much, just a small little photo, with a pin attached. On it, there is a drawing, labeled merely: Strong Lady.
"You may not like me, but I like you. I make this for you... I hope you like." He says, slowly backing off, and sitting back down.

Jowy raises his right hand, glowing with a black aura and holds it in Riou's face. "Do you think these care?"
"Jowy... What are you thinking?"
"We have no choice. There has been nothing to prevent this. No magic cure. No fix all. I resisted doing this for a long time. And so have you. But the fact is, that we will die soon, if we do nothing. There is only one option." Jowy pulls out his staff and holds it behind him, ready to fight.
"We've been through this. I won't fight you. I won't kill you." Riou says keeping his arms at his side.
"Then this won't be much of a fight."
With that, Jowy pulls his staff around and smacks Riou in the side and brings the other end around to hit him in the leg, finally spinning around and using the end of it to hit him in the chest knocking him down onto the ground.
"One of us must die. And the other must take their Rune and inherit the true Rune of Beginning. Otherwise, the conflict of our Runes will continue on unabated and they will only bring strife and conflict. You know it to be true. Your adoptive father, Master Genkaku, hero of the City-State, knew it to be true. That is why he and Han had sealed these Runes away. But they ran from their responsibility. We can not make the same mistake. We have to fight. Now, get up, Riou. Let our last acts as friends be to face each other as equals."
