"Gate." Uzzi finished casting his spell. A circle of magical energy opened up in front of the Big Orphan, large enough for it to pass through.
"Alright. Just tell whoever can fly this thing to go through the Gate and we'll be there." He explained, wiping a little sweat from his brow. He chose to ignore everyone confronting Relius.

Varger sloshed the liquid around in its cyclinder, inspecting it. He glanced at the group, looking for that girl who resembled EMily. He had a message for her.
"Y=tou're kidding, right? He wanted to use me as a t-test subject for who k-knows what!" Erica said to Gwen, not taking her eyes of Relius.
"B-back off! I'm w-arning you!" She yelled at Relius as she took a few steps back and slightly sqeazed the trigger of the pistol.

Relius snapped his fingers, and Ignis appeared in front of Tophat. Relius stepped towards Erica again. "Do not worry. The experiments will put my resaerch decades ahead."
Gunshot. Now that was interesting, as was the gate that had appeared. He leapt up and landed behind Erica with a dull thud.
Sephiroth blinked as new knowledge came into his head. The girl in the purple dress had told him, and his Controller had simply not noticed. Incompetence it was then.

Perhaps Sephiroth could still be significant to the events after all, perhaps he did have a role to play. He suspected that was what his Controller hoped too: in fact, he was beginning to suspect the only reason he was here was so that his Controller could make him as important as possible. Varger smirked and held a hand up to grab the arm that Erica had held the gun in. "Careful" He said.
OOC: In the game, the pistol holds 18 rounds in each clip.

Relius blocked the shots with thick, puppet-like arms, then ran up to Erica before she could reload. He grabbed her as Ignis grabbed Tophat's sword, forcing it down. "Now then, let us begin."
