Sephiroth sighed again.
In this world full of those being Controlled - and so, he supposed, part of a larger world full of Controllers - there was virtually nothing he could do that would get him noticed. It was sad, really. He had been brought into existence only to affect the plot, and he could not even do that.
He, and his Controller, were useless.
For now, those who knew each other, who had been designated the important ones somehow, were doing whatever they felt would make their characters the most prominent. For that was the goal of each and every Controller here:
BECOME THE MAIN CHARACTER.
Of course, that could only happen to one fortunate being.
And it would not be him, the newcomer amongst those who had decided that they would be the ones to create the world as they saw fit, to designate the plot to those who were the most noticeable.
His Controller left him, and he was left an empty shell until the being responsible for his entire existence returned.
