Seeing as how Relius' head was encased in a opaque shell of some sorts, Erica saw her chance and tried reaching for the necklace again.

Relius was paralysed by the bolts and fell, holding on to Erica. Ignis smaked into a wall, and sparked as it began repairs.

OoC: Ok, I have no freaking idea how I'm gonna get out of this one.

OOC: I never played DnD or any other RP thing like it really, but I would think the healer character would need to be able to avoid danger.

OoC: Ok, I have no freaking idea how I'm gonna get out of this one.

...I was going to let Relius go, but he just had to hold on to Erica...crazy scientist bastard...

I've played DnD, clerics CAN be bloody brinks! Especially if they go total defensive stance.

Slightly tempted to simply 'EMP' Ignus like I did to the robots back in Tokyo in WAOA, but that seems a bit too cheap.

Ignis repaired itself and stood up, flying over to Erica. The doll grabbed her by the neck with both hands, talons drawing flecks of blood. Relius managed to say something from inside his bubble. It was muffled, but understandable. "If I die, so does she."

Grace bashes the puppet's arm with the heavy top of her staff, hoping to break it. "I didn't want you dead. I wanted you to leave without the girl you fool!" she growled at Relius.

Erica gasped as Ignis' claws dig into her neck. Faced with the fact that she may not come out of this alive, Erica began crying.
"What do you want of me? Just leave me be!"

"I have not come this far to just give up now... either she comes with me, or her neck is torn." Relius was starting to run out of air. He heard Erica. "Tests. Experiments. Research into the soul."

Diane walks up, and looks at Relius, "What are you doing!? Why are you doing this!?"

Gerry fired more bolts into Ignis to keep it from choking Erica anymore while Grace bashed it's arm again.

"Go do these tests on yourself!" Erica cried out.

Ignins began tightening the grip on Erica's neck. Skin was shorn, but the vital veins were avoided.

Joe pulls out a giant pair of scissors. "I knew these pair would come in handy one day!" Joe shouted, bring them over to Ignus to chop the robot's arms off of Erica.

Grace stared healing Erica's neck.

OOC: Relius can go a long time without air...

Relius passed out from lack of air. Ignis abandoned Erica's neck, holding her under one arm while grabbing Relius with the other, then bolting down the passageway.
