The chicken finally managed to climb on top of the Big Orphan. "Man, I really hate not having functioning wings." it groaned to himself. He walked over to the door and was about to enter. Then he realized that was a terrible idea. He summoned a small earth elemental and handed it a scroll. "Alright, now just knock on the door, and give whoever answers that piece of paper. Can you do that?" the chicken said slowly. Earth elementals weren't the smartest minions, but it was all he had.
The Earth Elemental nodded as the chicken walked off. It knocked it's mighty stone fists against the door, putting a few small dings in it.

Relius moved his arm at the last second, Rachel's sword cutting his sleeve. Ignis repaired itself, and flew over to Relius, just in time for the two of them to be tossed ouf of the ship.
OoC: ...this is the part where I bring up it was planned that Relius would get away with Erica. Didn't want to spoil it and ruin the tension. That said, you guys put up one hell of a fight. I was racking my brain for counters. I admit defeat.

OoC: @Outis Ah, dont worry. It's been a while since I had a really heavy, brink-of-death fight, and I did power up Relius and Ignis insanely as well. Shall I say next time it's a supposed-to-lose battle, or would that kill the drama?
Grace ended her healing magic and stared at the gash on Erica's back curiously. "Gerry, go get my supplies, and hurry." she commanded gently. He gave a small nod and ran off to their room.
"Erica!" Joe went over as he saw the large gash. "What's happening! I didn't see that before!"

OoC: @Outis Sorry, didn't phrase it well. I mean that when a plot relevant fight is happening, if I know about the outcome I'll say "this character is supposed to win." Unless that'd put a damper on the tension.
