OOC: @All. It's called Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni. The set up is that it's a murder mystery anime. Without context the deaths can appear funny or disturbing. It's just sort of bizarre and adventurous at the same time. @Nailik. The only other iconic death that I can think of is when Satako, a 10 year old loli, gets stabbed, nailed, and crucified to death.
