"Well that's not very nice..." Joe said, before Shani launched at him. "Oh God!" Joe blocked the swing with his own sword, which was similar in size and shape to a DnD rapier (not one of those flimsy ones). Small sparks flew as the two blades met.
"What? Is it the pants!? I like my pants! They got pockets!" Joe shouted back at Shani as he rolled with the swing getting to the other side of her sword, swinging for her sword arm.

Grace stopped and huffed. This was more annoying than anything else. "Erica! Are you in here?" she shouted into the void.
Grace heard someone chuckling, but it was not Erica's voice.

OoC: @Zeph well, I'm happy I'm not alone in this. If it keeps up, this might end up being kinda pointless. I had to retry to load this page twice and reloading the tab has been taking a good solid minute or better. Everything else I've been going to (to check my connection) comes up practically instantly.
