'Oi! This is private property lady! Mind not listening in!' Joe's Brain shouted to Shani before blasting her with a 'Brain Storm' to give her the message a little more clearer.

Joe landed to the ground with a thud dropping his sword to his side as he broke his fall. He looking up to see Shani going for his head again, so he brought up his right hand and launched his extending glove straight into it. The 2D glove was pierced by the sword but Joe grabbed the extended part with his other hand and whipped Shani just enough to miss his head, making her roll behind him as he lay on his back.

Taking the opportunity he rolled back to his sword and cut himself loose. "Do you know how long it took me to draw that glove! About 1 minute..!" Joe said angrily as he took the damaged glove off. (His actual hands were in the cuff part of the glove, not the fingers, since his hand is really a stump like always.)

@Wacky. Sorries, didn't see you before. XP

"Sure I do, man!" He shouted, and tossed up a couple of grenades to Dr. Com.

After Grace focused on the memory for some time, the images became slightly clearer, but the details were still hard to make out.
Grace saw Erica, carried by Ignis, leaving a laboratory of some sorts and entering an airship of some sort. Next, the memory showed nothing but Erica staring at the floor of the airship while wishing she was dead.
Eventually the memory show Erica being picked up by Ignis again and brought to Grace standing infront of the Orphan, followed by Erica being taken to her room and treated for her injuries.
Then, the memory show Grace talking to Erica. It shows Erica asking Grace to stay, despite not knowing why.
Then everything turned to a blank again.

Grace furrowed her brow. ...Tha...is that it? That...that can not be all there is left to her...all that pain and suffering...and this? No...no... Grace thought as she looked around, hoping to find some positive memory, some glimmer of hope she could use to bring Erica back from the brink.

Really? That's it? I was expecting more of a reaction. Oh well.
"Not really. Not to me anyway. Just kinda comes natural." Four said as she lazily sprawled out on the couch.

Gah! This is exactly why I hate you! So chaotic, so disorderly, so disrespectful...I'll enjoy making you suffer! Shani thought as she clutched her head in pain from the Brain Storm before cutting off telepathic communications with Joe.
She snapped her fingers and appeared to split into two different Shanis. Shani 1 tossed her rope at Joe's off hand and wrapped it around Joe. She tugged at Joe and knocked him off balance while Shani 2 leaped at Joe for an overhead sword strike

@Salty: They're Devils. They're from Hell. They have to be immune to fire damage just to be able to survive existing basically.
@Wacky: Nondescript outdoor area of Paris, I believe.

Jio barely managed to dodge the slash from the Bearded Devil by stepping to the side. Thank God for Kirin's training. Too bad for this thing it's speed has nothing on a true sword-master. He smirked as he saw his O-Part returning to hit the Devil in the back.

Jin was pushed back by the Devil. Fortunately, this allowed him to block the counter attack with Ashura, pushing him back even further. This thing doesn't have any skill compared to Shuri or Ball. Jin lands a bit roughly and rolls out of the throw and back to his feet. "I really hope you like the heat, because I'm about to bring it." Jin slashes as a massive amount of Spirit channels into the blade. "Terra Python!" The attack creates a massive blue flame in the shape of writhing snakes that engulf the Devil.

OoC: @Drak I figured as much. Doesn't mean Jin will give up though.

"[sub]...I see...but...what's the point of two women having sex? They can't make children so...[/sub]" Gerry asked as he thought of the ultimate uselessness of the act.

Gwen fired out a singularity nearby at a few of the devils in an attempt to rip apart their flesh and armor.

Gordon took out his gravity gun and found a nearby pile of leftover construction rubble. He fired multiple large boulders and shards of concrete at the devils.

OOC: The music that's playing for me when I'm thinking of Grace entering Erica's mind:

Doctor Com nods, and walks around the buiding. He places the grenades down, and makes a fuse somehow.
Doctor Com runs next to Gordon, and dives under cover.
"INCOMING!"
The Grenades explode, and do little to nothing.
"Anything more... potent?"

"IRON BODY"The spell turns Alric and Mr.Tweedums into living iron"Iron Tweedums attack"Alric says throwing him and moving in Tristan thrusts his dagger at one of the devils legs while Acelina dodges the attack and does several swipes to his midsection Kalin gets up and bashes the devil Acelina was attacking

Grace's search was to no avail. Relius had been thorough. The memory of each and every positive expirience had been removed.
After walking around, Grace came upon the painful memories once more.

@Wacky. Okay, grenades are deadly, but I don't think they have enough explosive force to level a building's support.
@Nailik. The music? Really? It's what popped into my head, though. Seemed good for it imo.

Grace's form shuddered as she came to a stop. I......I can not help her...can not fix this......I'm sorry Erica... she thought as she left her mind. She returned to her own body and found tears running down her cheeks.

Erica softly sighed as Grace returned to her own body. Although she wasn't certain what Grace was doing there, she was well aware that Grace had entered her mind.

OoC @Slenn: It's the percussions that made it too energetic. Didn't really say 'emptyness' IMO.
The second one fits like a glove, though.

The devils seemed relatively unaffected by Gwen's singularity. Some of their flesh was ripped off, but being in a battle frenzy they didn't seem to care.
The devil hit by Gordon was buried under a pile of rubble. It burst out and tossed its glaive at Gordon like a throwing spear, then charged to tackle him.
The devil collapsed as Jio's blade hit it in the back. It fell over, massive amounts of black blood flowed from its wounds, staining the ground. The devil burst into flames, then just seemed to fade away, leaving the ground burning.
The devil Jin attacked sniffed dismissively. It said something to Jin in a language he couldn't comprehend, and probably wouldn't want to. Then it charged at him, making an overhead slash at him with its glaive.
The devil being attacked by Kalin in company starts bleeding as it was stabbed and bashing multiple times. It spun around, holding out its glaive to try and hit the three enemies engaging it in melee at once.

@Drak: Still love the fact that Joe is probably THE most vulnerable to mind control out of the group, yet has one of the best defenses against it.

Using Shani 1 as an anchor, Joe grabbed the rope and pulled himself further off balance, launching himself away from the over head strike. He corrected himself in mid air as he twisted into the wind and then kicked off as he landed to knee Shani 1 in the gut as he continued in that direction. The momentum carried them for a bit, before Joe kicked off of her and cut himself out of that rope.

"Yes I'm disorganized is that really something to kill someone over!! [small]I wouldn't say disrespectful... I usually am pretty good with that...[/small]" Joe muttered. "I still don't understand why you hate me so much!"
